3rd Person POV
As Poseidon flashed in, Percy quickly averted his eyes and Triton, being a god and all, didn't even make an attempt to look away. Once Poseidon arrived, he opened his eyes and saw his two sons standing in Percy's room. At first he was confused until he looked over Percy's shoulder and saw the armorstand without the armor. His eyes quickly went to Percy before looking him over and noticing the necklace and trident pendant. He smiled and said, "I see you got your armor." "Yeah Dad, I did. And Triton told me what you guys did. Thank you so much," Percy replied. Poseidon waved him off before saying, "You're a prince Percy. So you deserved armor befitting a prince." At this percy blushed and looked away. "Kind of forgot about the whole 'Prince of the sea' thing for a second there." Triton and Poseidon both laughed at how humble Percy was being. They both knew that if it was anyone else, they would jump at the opportunity to become a prince, let alone a prince of one of the most powerful domains. "I suppose you want to see Tyson now, right Percy?" "Yeah Dad, if that's okay with you." Poseidon smiled again, "It's perfectly fine with me Percy. Come on, I'll guide you to the Cyclops forges." "Okay." Poseidon swiftly swam out of the room with Triton close behind him. Percy, having just figured out how to move the way they did, was a little slower causing his father and brother to have to slow down slightly to make sure Percy didn't get lost.
In a matter of minutes, they were on the other side of the city, just outside the cyclops forges. After only seconds, Tyson came barreling out the door to the forges yelling, "Brother!" as he slammed into Percy and brought him into a bone crushing hug. Percy hugged him back just as hard. "Hey Tyson, miss me?" "Yes I did, but Dad kept me informed on what you were doing. At least, as best he could. Did you get the armor I made you?" Percy tugged on the trident pendant and his armor wrapped around him as he said, "Yeah I did buddy. It's amazing Tyson, thank you little brother." Tyson squealed in delight, "Now brother is safe and very blue." Percy laughed. "Yeah Tyson, I am very blue and I love it buddy. Thank you." Percy put his armor back into its necklace form.
"Oh brother, I have something else for you. Do you still have Riptide with you," Tyson asked.
"Always Tyson. It always returns to my pocket," Percy said.
"Do you think that I could borrow it? Just for a few hours so I can copy the enchantments on it?" Tyson said quickly. "Sure buddy." Percy took Riptide out of his pocket and handed it to Tyson. "Here you go Tyson."
"Thank you Percy, I'll bring it back to you in a couple hours," Tyson said.
"I know you will Tyson," Percy said but Tyson never heard it though as he was already back through the door of the forge.
"Percy," Poseidon said, "Did Triton show you around Atlantis?"
Percy replied, "Yeah Dad, he did. The parks around the palace are beautiful."
"Thank you Percy. Although you should tell that to Amphitrite. Afterall, she was the one who designed all of the parks." Percy's jaw dropped. "Amphitrite did that," Percy asked astounded.
Poseidon chuckled, "Yes Percy. She did all of that." "Wow," was all Percy could say.
"Guys, I think we should head back now. It's almost time for dinner and Percy hasn't eaten anything in at least three days," Triton said. As if to confirm what his older brother said, Percy's stomach growled loudly at the mention of food. Percy blushed as his father and brother laughed at his stomach for such good timing.
"Alright come on you two. We're taking the highway back." Said Poseidon. "Ummm, Dad, what's 'the highway back'?" Poseidon chuckled as Triton tried to explain it to Percy. "You just imagine your body turning into water vapor and focus on where you want to go. Then you have to imagine your body forming itself back again out of the mist. It's called vapor travel. It should be relatively easy for you to do now that you're a prince of the sea." "Okay. So we're just going back to the palace right?" "Yes, Perce. However it's easiest to travel to a place that you can picture clearly in your mind. So for now I would suggest you vapor travel to your room since it's the part of the palace you've seen the most of. Until you get more familiar with the rest of the city of course," Poseidon warned. Percy hastily asked, "Wait. Before we do this, does it just work in water or can it be done outside water too?" Triton answered him, "Anywhere that there is water you can vapor travel, that includes air because air has water vapor in it. You can vapor travel everywhere except space." "Ohhh okay, thanks." Poseidon looked at his sons and asked, "Ready?" They both nodded and he said, "Okay Percy I'm going to go first so that you can see how it's done and Triton will be here to guide you if you need it." "Okay Dad," Percy said.
