Percy's POV (during the meeting)

"Wow. I didn't know Atlantis was this beautiful." Said Percy. "Yeah, Dad worked hard to make it like this. And if you want somewhere peaceful and serene to just sit and think, head to Mom's garden on the east side of the palace. It's the prettiest during sunrise."

Triton had taken me to one of the many parks surrounding the main city and palace. There were hundreds of different kinds of plant life and animal life swimming all over the place. It was, in a word, perfect. "Say, Triton, where are the cyclop's forges?" "Eager to see Tyson are we? Well we have to go back to the palace first. He made something for you that I think you're going to want before we go to the forge." "Okay. Lead the way."

As Triton led me back to the palace I couldn't help but wonder what Tyson might have made me. But knowing him it could be anything from a new shield to a peanut butter sandwich. Thinking about that made me smile. I heard Triton chuckle and turned to look at him, "It's not a peanut butter sandwich Perce. But I'm sure he would love to make you one if you want it."

I just stared at him for a solid thirty seconds before asking, "How did you know I was thinking that?" He answered, "Because I'm a god Percy I can read your mind."

He lasted ten seconds before falling over laughing at my face. He said, "I couldn't help it. I'm sorry but the look on your face was well worth it. And in all actuality I just knew you would think he would make you that."

I smiled again at my brother. Gods that felt weird thinking. Just a few hours ago I thought he hated my guts and now I think of him like an older brother? Oh well, just another day in the life of a demigod I guess. Speaking of demigods I wonder where Leo is and if he's-Oh look a pretty fish.

Le Time skip to Percy's room at Poseidon's palace

When Triton led me back to my room I was confused. I didn't think it was late enough for everyone to be going to bed. My thoughts stopped the instant he opened the door. Standing in the corner of my room was an armor stand with a beautiful set of blue armor that looked to cover every bit of exposed skin on my body. Triton caught me staring with my jaw gaping like a fish and said, "I know it might look heavy but it shouldn't feel any heavier than what you have on. And it will flex and move with you. Allowing maximum protection without compromising maneuverability." I walked over and touched it and it seemed harder than even Jason's Imperial Gold Gladius. Triton answered my unasked question, "It's made of Atlantean Iron. To any other than a being of the sea, this armor would weigh more than two hundred tons and would be near impossible to lift let alone wear. But to those that have the sea in their blood, it's as light as a feather and stronger than Nemean Lion hide." "Tyson made this," I asked in complete awe of the armor. "Yeah, with a little help from Dad, Mom and I," he responded. "You don't have to wear it like that all the time either. Just imagine it as a necklace and it will become a trident pendant around your neck." I did as he said and the armor shifted before my eyes becoming a bright silver chain and trident engraved with what appeared to be Ancient Greek on the trident. "Now if you ever want to put it on just tug on the trident and your armor will appear around you." I pulled on the pendant and I didn't feel anything happen but when I looked down I saw deep blue bracers covering my arms and lighter blue greaves on my shins. I stretched out for a second seeing how the armor moved with me. Once I looked up I saw Triton grinning at me. "What?" "Now you look like a prince of the sea. Welcome to the family, Perce."

His words hit me like a ton of bricks.

"Wait, what do you mean 'prince of the sea'?"

"I mean exactly what I said. You're a prince now Percy. A prince to the throne of the sea and the throne of Atlantis. You're second in line, after me of course, but you ARE a prince."

"But what if I don't want to be a prince? What if I'm not a good prince? What if-"

"Percy, stop. This is just a title. That's it, a title and a chance for the throne should Dad and I both fade. You are already a prince in the people's hearts Percy. They love you. I know that Dad never told you this but you are the heart of the sea. The people looked up to you even before you were a prince because of your leadership and combat skills during the Titan and Giant wars. You and I both know you're a great leader and have the ability to inspire those around you to keep fighting even when they think all hope is lost. You may not have had the title before, but you were already a prince and a damn good leader. So stop worrying. Because you have nothing to worry about." Triton managed to quell my fears and calm me down with his words and the fact that he was hugging me definitely helped. "Besides, if you have any questions you'll always have me and Dad to help guide you. You're not in this alone Percy and you will never be alone again. We're the House of Poseidon, Percy. Our fatal flaws are loyalty. We would both dive in front of a spear to save the other. I've got your back little bro. Now and forever."

"Thank you, brother. I didn't think I would have anyone I could rely on like that ever again."

"Well you do, so stop moping around, turn your armor back into a pendant and let's go see Tyson."

"You're right. Let's go." After turning my armor back into a necklace I turned around and had to quickly shield my eyes as my dad chose the perfect moment to flash back to Atlantis.
