A tall man that I didn't recognize stood about a pace back from the door. "Is this the residence of Lily and Lukah Davis?" He seemed around my age, but I didn't recognize him.
"Yes sir"
"I'm Jackson. Alpha sent me to bring you these. Here you go ma'am." He handed me two small envelopes, then turned and walked away without another word.
"Thank you!" I called after him as I ripped open the top letter. They both had LD written on them so I figured it didn't matter which one I opened, my twin would get the other.
Dear Recipient,
You have formally been invited to attend the celebratory banquet for all graduating seniors. Dinner will be served as the students are rewarded. Directly after dinner a formal ball will be held. The ball is part of the festivities, so we expect that anyone who attends to stay for the entire evening.
Please come appropriately dressed for this important event. We hope to see you there.
