Cursed

Chapter 1; The Owl House

Amity Blight stepped out into the sunshine, sighing. Today was the day, she had decided. She had to tell Luz about her curse. She didn't care if Luz hated her, but her girlfriend deserved to know. They had been dating for a few weeks now, and Amity had felt a large burden on her shoulders as each day had passed. Luz would be disgusted with her when she found out, but that was okay. Amity had very strong morals, and this was one thing she couldn't let slide. So she picked up her palisman, Ghost, and transformed her into the familiar shape of a broomstick. She made her way to the Owl House silently.

Luz;

"KING GIVE THAT BACK!" Luz shrieked, chasing after King, who had a sketch of Amity in his grimy little claws. "Oh Amity, you cotton-candy haired goddess!" He mocked Luz in a high-pitched voice, still holding that sketch. Luz felt her cheeks burn and she finally scooped King up. "Ha!" She cheered and snatched it from him just as Eda had rounded the corner. "The minute I've had my morning apple-blood and you two are already screaming. This day is off to a great start," She sighed and then noticed the sketch causing the fight in the first place. Eda's brows raised and she made a little smirk, gold fang sticking out. "Wow, kid, you sure are love-sick. Worse than me and-" Eda quickly changed her wording. "Never mind. King, don't take things from Luz anymore. You know better. Next time you do that, I'll let her cuddle you and squish your cheeks." King looked absolutely horrified and gave a quick nod. "It will never happen again!" He squeaked and raced off to find François. Luz was about to give Eda a quick 'thank you' when a knock came from the door.

AMITY;

"Leave me alone, you annoying..bird tube!" She screamed at Hooty, who was already trying to wrap himself around her. Amity considered strangling him - as if it was possible - and then sighed when the door opened and Luz was standing in front of her. She felt Hooty release her and Luz gave her a hug. "I'm so glad you're here!" Luz exclaimed with a grin, and Amity awkwardly pushed her away. "...Right. Uh, can I come in?" She asked slowly. Luz frowned for a moment as Amity pushed her away, but nodded eagerly anyways. "Yeah come on in. You're always welcome to stop by, you know." She commented and let Amity inside. The two girls walked up to Luz's room and the door shut behind them. Amity knew what she had to do.
