Brothers

Chapter 11

Mikey soon returned from dropping Klunk off at Angel's house, Leo was talking to Tomas in Spanish from his brothers tone he could tell he was telling him they would save Miguel. Raph and Donnie walked in from where they left, Donnie said "Ok we are done Mikey did you get Klunk to Angel's ok?" The youngest turtle nodded, and Donnie continued "Ok Leo we are ready to eave when you are."

The eldest nodded and said "I'm as ready a I'll ever be." They all nodded making their way to the garage to board the helicopter. In the helicopter Donnie was piloting Raph in the passenger seat, Mikey in the back with Leo and Tomas.

Half way through the trip Tomas fell asleep n Leo's arms, the blue banded turtle closed his eyes but never fell asleep he could here Mikey trying t get comfortable Raph telling Donnie how much longer until they could land and Donnie...didn't say much. Mikey looked over to his oldest brother he had his eyes closed hugging Tomas close to his body, the prankster crawled over to his brother sitting next to him "Maybe he won't mind me sleeping next to him,' he thought to himself.

Leo didn't open his eyes but he said in a quiet tone not to wake the sleeping boy "Mikey I'm not asleep and yes you can sleep next to me," he held up his arm welcoming his youngest brother into the warmth he held. Mikey didn't hesitate he drove into his brothers embrace snuggling close to him soaking up as much warmth as possible.

When they landed Leo woke Mikey and told him they had arrived, Raph and Donnie walked to the back of the helicopter meeting the scene of Leo sitting on he floor holding Tomas in his arms while trying to wake Mikey. Once the youngest turtle was awake Leo stood up with Tomas still in his arms and said "We need to take him home to his father and two brothers, then we take our stuff to my place in the morning we go to Tomas's house and talk to his father understand?"

They all nodded and Raph asked "how far does Tomas live from here and why did we land on a mountain?" Leo looked at his hot-headed brother and said "He lives 6 miles away from here and the reason we landed on the mountain is so the Villages can't see us." They nodded and followed their leader ad now sensei out of the helicopter, they were met with a lot of trees so tall they could touch the sky.

Leo still had Tomas in his arms he turned to his brothers and asked "How fast can you climb a tree?" They shrugged not understanding what he meant until one handedly Leo quickly climbed the tree disappearing into the leaves, the three younger turtles soon followed amazed of how fast he was. Once hey reached the top of the tree they could see many different villages (like the lights in a city that's how they could see the villages) Leo pointed to a distant small village and said "that one is Tomas's home."

They ran and ran until they came to the village, the brothers were seeing a new side of Leo not like back at the lair with Tomas but a high alert Leo. They made their way through the village coming to a small house, Leo walked onto the porch opening the door slowly and quietly, motioning his brothers to enter which they did meeting darkness in the home.

Leo called out names in Spanish and soon two young boys along with a tall man walked in from a small room, the man asked something in Spanish and Leo nodded replying back in Spanish. Leo sat Tomas down as he woke up the two small boys ran over to him squeezing him in a tight hug.

Leo turned to his brothers and said "This is Alan and Dante Tomas's younger brothers," the two boys nodded a their names looking at the three new turtles. The blue banded turtle turned to the tall man and said in English "Ricardo I will save Miguel and you know I will take that risk...and these are my brothers Raph, Donnie, and Mikey." The man nodded and said "Welcome and Thank you Leo."

Leo turned to Tomas and his brothers and said "Its late we will return in the morning, if you need me before then you know where my place is." They nodded and the four turtles left running back to the helicopter to get the bags they need following Leo back to the village, the passed the village walking deep into the jungle. Raph asked "Uh Leo where is your place is it in a tree or something?" Leo shook his head and said "Here we are."

The three younger turtles looked at their oldest bother confused, Leo moved the leaves covering he ground revealing many different vines leading into darkness below. The blue banded turtle grabbed a vine sliding down it disappearing into the darkness, they exchanged looks then followed their brother down into the darkness.

Mikey was the first to speak "I cant see anything," The room soon lite up by a torch with Leo holding it. He said "before you ask questions yes I lived underground for two years now get some rest we have along day ahead of us tomorrow." Donnie spoke up "Uh Leo aren't you going to tell Mikey about the you know...about being the-" Leo cut him off "Yes I will tell him Donnie...,uhh Mikey you know The Ghost of the Jungle," Mikey nodded as Leo continued "Well I'm The Ghost of the Jungle."

Mikey's eyes grew wide at what his brother said, Leo looked to the ground and said "Now you know why I didn't want you three to come, and why I was gone so long." They nodded and looked to the ground al well, Leo spoke once more "Alright it's getting late you need to rest w have a big day ahead of us," raph spoke up "What you don't need to rest f
