After about 5 minutes of me sitting at my desk, I feel a tap on my shoulder.

"You ready to go" JJ asks me.

"As ready as I'll ever be" I reply with a tight lipped smile.

"Alright, let's get going" she says with a chuckle.

With that, I get up, grab my things and start to follow JJ out of the bullpen towards the elevators.

After JJ presses the down button on the wall, we stand there in silence before we hear a ding and the elevator doors open "HOLD THE DOORS PLEASE" me and jj hear coming from down the hall and I stick my arm out to prevent the doors from closing and thats when I get a weird sense of déjà vu.

"Thank you" emily says with a smile before picking her head up and locking eyes with me and where there once was a sweet smile, was gone in a matter of seconds.

She brushes passed me walking onto the elevator making sure to bump her shoulder into mine. I let out a scoff as she walks to the corner of the elevator.

As the doors close we fell into a silence, not like the one when I was standing with JJ but one where you could cut the tension with a knife.

Once we made it to the first floor emily made sure to get out as fast as she could. I made sure she was far enough before I turned to JJ and asked her a question as we were walking to the SUV. "Hey JJ, do you know what's emily's problem with me?" "What to you mean?" she questions giving me a confused look "I don't know, I just feel like she doesn't like me for some reason" I say shrugging my shoulders "If i'm going to be totally honest, I don't know why she's acting that way towards you" JJ responds honestly "Yeah, I don't know, like it's affecting me so much and I have no idea why" I say "All i'm going to tell you is, let her be, she will come around when she's ready" she tells me with a smile "I will try, but I swear she's getting on my nerves with the staring" I say getting annoyed "Oh my gosh, what if she likes you" she teases "Oh shut up, she does not, you don't treat someone you like, like shit" I would know "I don't know, emily prentiss is very unpredictable" JJ says with a smirk as she gets into the drivers side of the black SUV.

The drive to the tarmac was not that long and I decided not to pay attention to the directions since JJ made it very clear to me that she wants to drive me there every time.

When we get there, we grab our things and start to head towards the jet.

Walking up the stairs I notice that hotch, rossi, and prentiss are already here and not surprising to me emily was already staring but now its not that death stare she once had, she was just looking at me, and when I went to look back at her she moved her eyes away from me and back onto the files she was reading.

That was.... different

Emily and rossi were sitting in the connected seats while hotch took a single seat away from everyone closer to the front of the jet. JJ sat in the connected seats across from emily and rossi, I kinda had a feeling she did that on purpose, and my feeling was right when she made me sit right across from Emily.
