well, here goes nothing

I open the door and walk into agent hotchners office, "Agent Y/L/N" agent hotchner says "Hello sir" I say a little nervous as I walk to sit in a chair at the front of his desk.

He clears his throat before speaking "So, I've been looking through your file and its very impressive" as it should be "Everything, your past interviews, your perfect shooting score, the number of cases solved" I just sit back in my seat as he continues to praise my accomplishments. "We are happy to have you here on the team" he says as he stands up and extends his hand for me to shake. "Thank you so much agent hotchner" I say with a smile "Please, call me hotch, oh and I will have your credentials and gun brought up to you" he says with a serious expression but I can tell he means well.

"Would you like to meet the team?" he asks me gesturing towards the door "Um yeah sure, I've already met JJ and she's super sweet" I say with a smile "Oh, thats good that you've met someone already" he says as he opens the door "Yeah, I guess it is" I say with a smile as I can feel the heat rush to my cheeks. "Follow me and I will introduce you to the team" he says and I follow him out of his office and into where all of the desks are.

"Team" hotch says sternly to get all of the other agents attention "Dave get out here!" a muscular black man yells towards another office and an older man comes out, as soon as hotch has everyones attention he begins to speak. "Everyone this is agent Y/L/N" hotch says as he gestures his hand towards me, I give an awkward smile and a little wave.

"Y/N these are SSA's David Rossi, Derek Morgan, Spencer Reid, Jennifer Jareau and Emily Prentiss" I make eye contact with each person and smile as hotch introduces them to me, and as soon as he reaches emily name she was already staring at me, with that same look of disgust she had when I first walked through the glass doors. "Hi everybody, I'm super excited to be working with all of you it has been my dream ever since I was a kid" I say with a smile, completely disregarding emily's death stare.

After a few minutes of awkward silents I hear someone yell "OH MY GODDESS" I turn around to see where the yelling is coming from and I'm met with a colorful blonde women "Is this the new agent, omg you're beautiful you guys didn't tell me she was beautiful" she says loudly and looks at me as well as at the team behind me "You better be ready cause i'm a hugger" and before I can get a word in she wrapped her arms around me and gave me the tightest hug I've ever gotten. I didn't want to be rude so I hug her back "Wow, what's wrong with me, I haven't even introduced myself. I'm technical analyst Penelope Garcia but everyone calls me pen, garcia, penny, and if you name is Derek Morgan, babygirl" she says blushing a little. "well hi garcia, I'm Y/N" I say with a smile. "Wow even your name is beautiful, I would really love to get to know you more but," "I wouldn't" Emily mumbles under her breath what did this bitch just say? I love how she thinks I didn't hear her "we have a case my pretties" garcia finishes with a sad expression on her face.

"Round table room everyone" hotch says and everyone gets up and heads to the round table room, I follow behind and JJ comes up next to me "First case, how do you feel" she asks as she links her arm with mine "Oh um, I'm not that nervous, but that depends on what the case is" I reply with a slight chuckle "Yeah as long as it doesn't involve kids I'm fine" she says squeezing my arm a little "Yeah I get that" I say with a smile.

When we enter the round table room I feel emily start to stare at me again, this time I've had enough so I stare back at her while taking a seat next to JJ. I have no idea what the fuck her problem is with me, but I'm sure as hell going to find out.

As me and Emily are staring at each other, I feel a hand on my shoulder that makes me jump a little "So sorry to scare you, but here is your gun, badge and credentials" a man says to me with a tight lipped smile "Oh thank you so much" I respond to him with a smile "Thanks Anderson" Hotch says before the man walks out of the room "No problem sir" anderson responds before leaving the room.

I put my badge on my belt loop and my credentials in my back pocket, also attaching my holster and gun to my side.

"Alright my fine furry friends, newbie" garcia says as she enters the room and looks at me with a smile. " Today my lovely superheroes you all are headed to sunny side Los Angeles, where the bodies of two women were found in abandoned buildings" she says as pictures of the women appear on the tv screen.

"The first victim was Ashlee Evans, 31, she was found with face up with bruises all over her body and cuts in the shape of an X on her arms and legs" garcia says as we look through the case file

"It says she was last seen leaving her job at 8:30pm" morgan says "Yes, the security cameras caught her leaving after her shift" garcia answers

"You said there was two victims, who's the second?" emily questions, I look at her as she is talking, not realizing I was staring until she moves her gaze back to me and rolls her eyes. I scoff at her action

"Something to add Y/L/N" hotch asks me "No sir, sorry just a dry throat" I answer embarrassed, emily seems to get amused at me being embarrassed as she badly tries to hide her smile. I just roll my eyes and fix my gaze back on garcia at the front of the room.

"Too answer your question my raven haired queen, the other victim was Jada Gentry, 33, she was last seen at a park with her two kids" garcia says to fill the awkward silence. "Wow those poor kids" I say, knowing how it feels to loose someone I love.

After I say that I feel a hand on my thigh, as I look down I notice its JJ's hand. She gives it a quick squeeze, I look up at her and she gives me a sweet smile and scrunches her nose. she's so cute, what are you thinking y/n pull yourself together, you cannot fall for a coworker.

I turn to look back at pen, when I fell emily staring at me again. This time I pay no attention to her and focus back on the case file.

"Okay everyone, we will discuss victimology on the jet" hotch states "The jet" I questioned surprised "Yes y/n, the jet. I hope you have a go bag ready" hotch tells me "Yes sir, I do. I just didn't expect there to be a private jet" I reply with  a slight chuckle.

"Well there is one" Emily says matter of factly looking me up and down and rolling her eyes with a scoff. Breaking the silence hotch speaks and says "We need to stop this unsub as fast as we can, we have no time to waste, wheels up in 20"

With that everyone gathers their things and starts heading out towards their desks, emily being the first one out of the room.

As I get up JJ comes up to me and grabs my arm "I want you to sit next to me on the jet, okay" she says tilting her head "Um yeah sure" I reply with a smile "Oh and I will take you to where the jet is" she says walking away with a wink. I can't with her, don't do this y/n, its not good. 

I walk over to where all of the desks are and find the one where my name is. I put my things down and look over the case one more time before its time to head to the jet.

I was having trouble writing these simple parts of the case, I have no idea what i'm going to do on the next chapter when I actually have to write the case. anyways, emily needs to calm tf down fr. but, pray for me with this next chap. love yall <3
