Apatura Iris, or also known as the purple emperor is a unique butterfly for it doesn't feed on flowers like any other butterfly. It feasts on honeydew, oak sap. And also urine and animal carcasses.

These butterflies are mostly found on the top of oak trees in dense woodlands. During my travels in forests and thick dense places of greenery and wood, I found a small group of these butterflies nesting on the oak trees. I studied their behavior for only a couple of days but they've already piqued my interest. Maybe one day I'll keep one as a pet.

Chapter: 3

The bell rings and the sounds of students opening their bags, organizing their things, chatter and the general background noise of students followed after it.

The teacher who's still infront of her desk fixes her glasses and pushes her hair behind her ears then clears her throat. The students inside the classroom anticipated what she is about to say.

"Class dismissed."

Cheers have made their way into the classrooms as my classmates rushed outside. Chatter and footsteps flooded the room when the people inside are taking their time to leave one by one.

"Ugh..."

I firmly pressed my palms on my ears while standing up. One hand organises my books and pens and placing them inside my bag as my other hand is still covering my ears. An annoyed look is plastered on my face.

"Hey!! Zachary!"

A voice boomed through my hand and to my ears. I rolled my eyes.

I swinged my bag over my shoulders and I walked towards the group of people calling out to me. Cheeky grins and mischievous eyes surround me. Sneaky smirks and giggling teeth.

"What is it?"

"Pack your stuff, bro! We found a cool abandoned house! If we spend the night there and catch something good on camera we'll be famous!"

"No thanks."

I take my leave, shoulders bumping into eachother.

"Come on! It's gonna be good!!"

They chase after me as I continue to ignore them. Eventually they caught up and blocked my path. They can always go to that damn house by themselves just like how they go hang out with eachother without me, so why are they bothering me now? I need to study.

I try to outsmart them and have my way but my phone rings. I slid my hand into my pocket to take my phone out and check what messages or notifications I recieve.

The black screen of my orange colored phone lights up and a short message can be seen.

Unsavee contact: set your foot inside this house again and you're dead to me.

Below the message is another one. The second message sent chills down my spine.

———————————Messages———————————

Unsaved contact: Not only have you disappointed me with your 'sexuality', you have also disappointed me with your potential to be a real man. Why have your grades dropped?! You used to get perfect grades and now all you have are 94s! You've become stupid and shameful!
