He grabbed my book bag and his skateboard. I started waddling the other way. “Wait! Where are you going,” Aiden said. I couldn’t see his face but the way he asked his question made him sound like a sick puppy. “Well I’m going to retrieve the ipod on the side of the road that you just broke, thank you very much.” I said in a very harsh sarcastic tone. “Wow, make me feel even worse. This day just keeps getting better.” I responded with “Hey, um Aiden are you okay?” “Yeah I’m just swell.” ”The way he said it made me feel like I ruined his entire life. “You know what I’ll just call Cody or Zane, there probably home.” After I said this, I could feel him walking towards me. I turned around. We were now facing each other. He put his hand on my arm. There go those chills again. “God I feel like such a jerk none of this is your fault. Don’t feel bad. I’ve just had on e of the crappiest days of my life. Well let’s get going it’s getting pretty chilly.” While Aiden said this he seemed distant. I could tell something was very wrong with him. I dropped the thought and said, “Okay, I am getting pretty cold.” He then looped his arm under my arms and we started walking. The rest of the way we talked about random things like where he live (apparently he doesn’t know he just moved), weather, age, etc. I got home and we parted ways.
