My parents weren’t home yet when I arrived. I decided to plant myself in front of the TV with some grapes and an ice pack for my knee. My mom works as a real estate agent and my dad works as a journalist. They usually get home around 5 to 5:30ish. It was 6 and they still weren’t home. I was starting to get worried then once I thought this I got a text from mom saying:
Mom: dad & I went out for dinner.
Me : when will you guys be back????
Mom: around 6:30 to 7
Me : k. so wat am I eating for dinner
Mom: srry I totally forgot. U can make a sandwich, order pizza, or dad and I can bring you back something.
Me : can I order pizza?
Mom: yeah, do you know where the money is?
Me : nope
Mom: It’s in the container over the sink.
Me : kay thanks
Mom: only order a medium
Me : Awesome thanks
Mom: see u soon, love you
Me : love you too, bye
As I got up to get the phone my knee buckled. I slowly started to get up and tried to walk it off. Yeah, it didn’t help. I decided on calling for the pizza and ask mom and dad to take me to the ER when they get home. I didn’t want to ruin their evening.
After I called for pizza I started my homework. I cannot do homework without music so I decided to take out my ipod. Oh yeah, then I remembered the events from earlier today. The memories came flooding back. I then felt anger, sadness, content, and happiness. After that I couldn’t take my mind off of Aiden. Just thinking about his name made me happy. Wait! I have to forget this kid and move on.
Then I proceeded to turn the radio on and do my homework. Later, the pizza arrived and the total was ten bucks. I got the money and paid. I ate and finished up my homework. Then, I started watching TV again. It was 7:30 and mom and dad still weren’t home. I didn’t worry. They probably got caught up with something. Then, I got a text from Cody, my brother:
Cody: You, wats up?
Me : cut the crap!!!>: l
Cody: harsh much
Me : yeah so wat!
Cody: touchy, touchy
Me : wat do u want
Cody: are mom and dad home yet?
Me : no, but ur curfew is 8 this week so if ur ass isn’t here in 15 min I’m going to tell mom and dad
Cody: please don’t tell I’ll do anything
Me : exactly wat I wanna hear
Cody : wat do you want
Me : not in that tone please
Cody: my darling sister wat do u need?
Me : thank you, I appreciate that. Well on your way home pick me up a quart of cookie dough ice cream and 30 bucks. Please and thank you
Cody: is that all?
Me : yup, when mom and dad get home i'll cover for you. You got home exactly at 7:30, showered, and went to bed. Also you don’t want to be disturbed because u had a really tiring day at work.
Me : is that good enough?
Cody: that’s perfect
Me : I’m expecting a tub of ice cream in the freezer tomorrow morning
Cody: yeah whatever. Don’t forget to unlock my window please?
Me : yup no problem bro. c u later
I ended up falling asleep right after that.
