Mario & Luigi: Superstar Hearts

Ch 1

It was a beautiful day in the Mushroom Kingdom. Princess Peach was waiting for some visiting royalty to stop by. The fireworks were ready and the Toad blew their horns.

One of the Toads announced, "The Good Will Ambassador from Beanbean Kingdom has arrived."

Two people entered, one was pretty tall and the other was a bit short.

The tall man told the princess, "I wish to improve my kingdom's ties with the Mushroom Kingdom. I bring a gift from Queen Bean."

The short one went over, with a chest in above their heads. The box opened and there was a green face that came out of it. All of the sudden, green gas came out of it and sprayed on Peach. The Toads started to freak out. The tall one was laughing evilly. The tall one turned into Cackletta and the small one turned into Fawful. One of Fawful's inventions blew away the gas. Peach wound up fainting. Cackletta and Fawful fled.

Meanwhile, Luigi James Manfredi was outside doing the laundry. On the line were Mario's shirt, overalls, and socks. Toad (Red) came over to him.

Red stammered, "E - Emergency situation! Did you see the Kingdom Courier?"

Luigi asked, "Huh? What do you mean?"

Red ran inside, spinning Luigi around as he ran inside.

Red shouted, "MARIO!"

Mario Gregory Manfredi Junior came out of a hot shower, in his red bathrobe.

He asked, "Red? What is it?"

Red answered, "P - Princess Peach is in trouble!"

Mario ran outside and grabbed his clothes off the line. That just made poor Luigi spin a bit more. After getting dressed, Mario put on his shoes. He ran back inside.

Mario told his brother, "Weegie, the princess is in trouble!"

Luigi managed to stop spinning, "Let's go, Malleo!"

With that, the brother ran off to the castle.

When they got there, the brothers saw Peach crying. There was a Toad on each of her sides. Bowser was in front of her. Bowser was getting furious.

Bowser huffed, "Stop blubbering already!"

Just then, the brothers came in.

Luigi breathed, "Bowser!"

Mario took a fighting pose, "What have you done to the princess?!"

Bowser pointed out, "I hadn't done anything yet if you must know!"

Mario stated, "Yet is what I'm worried about!"

Luigi admitted, "Yeah, me too."

Bowser commented, "Take that back, Cowardly Bros!"

With that, the Koopa King started to fight the brothers. It didn't take them long for them to take down Bowser. Mario turned to the princess, trying to hide his blush.

He asked her, "Are you alright?"

Peach tried to say something but all that came out was explosives. Both of the brothers dodged it quickly.

Luigi stammered, "U - uh is that supposed to happen?"

Bowser woke up, "J - just listen! This is no time for fighting! Even though I would've won!"

Mario accused, "What did you do to the princess?!"

One of the Toads (Chad) spoke up, "It wasn't him! The Good Will Ambassador from Beanbean Kingdom just paid a visit!"
