I'm No Hero (One Punch Man X 40K)

Monsters? Ch. 3

3rd Person POV

Saladen is hammering his last piece of armor, his shoulder piece to be exacted. After a few more heavy strikes with Saladens hammer he bends his armor straight and smooths it out. After the battle with his brother, Russ. Saladen's armor sustained significant damage and the Hrud made his armor look like a mess, spikes and even the heads of his brothers sons. His armor looked good as new and was very clean and polished. Saladen was fixing his armor while his new companion was hovering over the lava.

Saladen put his tools down and grabbed his towel, wiping his face of the dirt and sweat. Right now Saladen is in nothing but his spare clothes. His spare clothes are a red tank top, black shorts, a leather apron and a cloth he's wrapped across his lower face.

Saladen with a sigh of relief places walks to the lava and washes his hands with it. He looks up to see his companion to see it's in some kind of rest. Saladen flicks the lava out his hands and walks to his armor and continues to clean it.

The Hero's Association

Members of The Hero's Association have been hard at work looking for the source of the intense energy outburst. So far no luck on what it was. Tatsumaki is lying around the Hero's Association, angered that her fight just "Disappeared".

The Monsters Association

Just like The Hero's Association, The Monsters Association is hard at work finding the energy out burst. Upon finding it, their hopes are to use it against The Hero's Association.

Back at the cave

Saladen puts his armor back on looking good as new. Grabbing his weapons, Saladen moves to and opens the cave door to venture outside.  Upon doing so he once again mask his presence to avoid detection. Saladen looked to the sky to see it clear, that women from before is gone. Saladen takes his opportunity to explore and find some locals on this planet.

Time skip thirty-seven minutes

Saladen has been walking to what he presumes is a city by the amount of people that are there. After walking a little more the city comes into view but something was not right. A giant humanoid creature was walking around with what seemed like another human in it's shoulder. Saladen wouldn't have cared for it, if it was peaceful but that wasn't the case. It was walking around the city destroying it, while watching, Saladen heard a women on a speaker.

Speaker: "This is an emergency evacuation warning, a giant creature of unknown origin has appeared in city D. The creature is currently on a direct path towards city B. All residents evacuate immediately, evacuate immediately, evacuate immediately."

The speaker didn't stop talking but Saladen heard enough, though Saladen has to repay for his actions these people shouldn't die. Grabbing lībertās which was on his back, he marched his way to the creature. While walking in the city there were bodies and blood everywhere, Saladen didn't have to worry about people because the city was now empty. Saladen approach the creature without it knowing and with his axe sliced it's Achilles tendon making it fall to it's knee. The creature looked at Saladen which he was right in front of it now. The man on its shoulder shouted at Saladen.

Lab coat guy: "What the hell! Quick little brother, kill him, now!"

The giant creature looked at Saladen and was gonna try to kill him, and as it brought its giant fist down on Saladen, he caught it. With little to no effort, Saladen pulled the creature making it fall forward. It picked up it's head and was meet with lībertās inside it's skull. Saladen pulled lībertās out it's head and very black blood spewed out it's head. Saladen holstered lībertās and tried to find the older brother, but it turns out he got smashed by his "little brother".

And as quickly as Saladen arrived, he left. While making his way out of the city he saw what looked like a drone. It was black with three red lights on it. Using his psychic powers to crush the drone, in doing so he unmasked himself and run to his cave.

The Hero's Association

Once again out of nowhere Saladen's psychic powers made a massive spike in power in The Hero's Association.

Worker 1: "I'm getting the readings again!"

Worker 2: "It's near city B, by the forest again!"

While the workers were pinpointing the power spike, Tatsumaki and her sister Fubuki felt the intense energy flow. The likes none have ever felt before.

Back to Saladen

Saladen made it back to his cave and sat down on the cave wall. As he's sitting down he is processing all the information he soaked up in the last hour.

Saladen: "Monsters? Hm, interesting."

Hello people! Sorry today's chapter was short but it's a set up for the next one to come out.

Sorry this came out a little later than it was supposed to. I will be working on I just want to be a cowboy once I publish this chapter.
