Chapter 2

You know when there's a secret somewhere Zipp would love to find it though something is not right. She knows everything and every place that's in Zephyr Heights. She's never seen a cave outside. "Well, I was not expecting this at all." Hitch just raised an eyebrow.

"Can we at least acknowledge the fact that we are lost and we don't know where we are going?" The Sheriff said sarcastically. "Well, I have known these parts for a long time. It's back when we didn't have magic yet remember." The princess of Zephyr Heights said.

What she means by that is no magic. Zipp herself would occasionally be by herself from the lie. A lie that her mother made! Just thinking about it makes the pegasus princess mad.

However, she knows that she couldn't get angry like that. In time she forgives her. Hitch notices the sudden silence. "Hey, Zipp are you ok? You seem a bit quiet." Zipp looked at him. "Sorry!! Uh Hitch I...I was thinking." The sheriff nodded.

It's been a while, but there is no cave what's so ever. "Where is the cave? We've been out here for hours!!" Zipp in frustration throws the orb. "I've been to these parts and have not seen a cave around here before!" Hitch looked at her and grabbed the orb. "Hey it's ok to be frustrated but it's not ok to be angry. It won't solve anything." Hitch said.

Zipp is angry for no reason at all but she knows why. She calms down a bit and took the orb from Hitch.

"Maybe this thing can lead us to the cave." She said. Hitch Doesn't quite follow. "What do mean by that Zipp?" She elaborates.

"I'm saying that what if this orb has magic in it!" She said. "Are sure about that and how do you know?" Hitch said. Zipp shows by placing her hoof on it. When she placed it her hoof glowed. The orb reaction was interesting the orb glowed and opened the cave right in front of them.

"Woah!! Now that's unexpected!" Hitch said, Zipp is in shocked to. "Wow its right in front of us all along." She then proceeded to go in.

It's dark really dark they can barely see anything Hitch brought a flashlight. "This place is enormous." Zipp smirked. But she pulls out her phone to activate the flashlight.

Behind them their way out is closed. They both looked at each other. "I guess there's no coming back from this I hope." Zipp said. The orb started to rotate again.

Now the word is longer for them to spell. "Oh great another word to spell out! Why is it doing that?" The Pegasus detective inspect it and notice another word to spell.

"Hitch look the orb wants us to spell another word agian." He looked but then the cave started to form as well. It cause them to get separated. "Hitch!!" She ran to him. "Zipp!!" He ran to her.

But to late now they are on their own. However, Hitch he's worried about her the most. Sure she can be tough but what dangers lie is beneath them.

"Great we're both separated!!" Zipp said. She pull out her flashlight. Hopefully she can find her way out. But she's worried about Hitch. Why you may ask because she has a crush on him.

But in reality her mother wouldn't allow it. She rather have her own daughter be with some pony royalty not a sheriff with baby dragon issues. "Why does my mother don't understand that I love him!!" That's kicker there but she hasn't told him and she doesn't know when.

"Oh Hitch I hope you ok." she said.

Hitch is another story he has to find away out of the cave. But Zipp first. Now if you think about it he's been worried about her ever since she became a detective. Is it love perhaps? Maybe it's just his duty as a sheriff kicking in.

"I'm just hoping she's fine." That's the only thing right now. But luckily he found a torch for him to see well.

"Don't worry Zipp I'm coming for you!!" He said with determination. As he kept going through the cave, he is still thinking about her. "Why am I so worried? I mean come on she can handle herself, after all She is strong, royal, and beautiful. Wait what?!" Why he think that I mean she is just a friend right?

"I need to find her." The young sheriff still doesn't understand the feeling. As the string starts to flutter.

Zipp is trying to focused as well but in her mind she misses him. "Why can't I have my way in life. Why?! Why am I a daughter to a queen?!" Still remembering what her mother said.

Few months ago...

"You can't date him Zephyrina!" Her mother said. "But mom I've always wanted to fall in. For so many years we tricked everyone!! But now since magic return we changed. Can you at least I have this chance please?" Zipp begged.

The Queen nodded no. "I'm sorry but this isn't important. You becoming the next queen is important." Zipp was hurt on the inside, she looked down and ran.

Present day...

She just wanted to have a normal life away from queen hood. But before she can think more. Her flashlight went off. "Oh great not now." She tap and shook it, to make it work again. But she notices a torchwood! So she quickly made fire from her hooves.

"There we go." Before she celebrate more. She heard singing. "Hmm hmm" Zipp looked behind and there was a Pegasus. It look like a mare but the pegasus noticed her. "Oh Hello." The pegasus said.

"Umm hi?" Zipp looked at her weirdly. "Oh goodness you must be hungry. Come my home is not far." What in the world she's offering a place to stay. " whoa, whoa?! What a minute I need to find my friend and who are you?" The pegasus giggles a bit.

"Oh my I'm very sorry. My name Ayla Breeze and what's your name?" Zipp answer her Question. "My name is Zephyrina Storm but you can call me Zipp."
Ayla then nodded but Zipp is confused.

"What the heck is going on!" The Pegasus detective said.
