Chapter 5

Sunny is wondering where Hitch and Zipp have gone.

It's been a whole day without them around. "Hey, guys, have you seen Hitch and Zipp?" She asks Pipp and Izzy.

"I haven't seen them since yesterday. They look like they were in a hurry too." Izzy said she gave a little snack to Sparky. "Zipp is not the same. She got mad at Mom." Pipp said. "I took a video quickly, but to be fair, hearing the conversation. Makes my blood boil." The pop star was still thinking about it yesterday. Explain it.

Sunny when up to her. "What happens?" she asks. "See for yourself." Pipp pulls out her phone for them to see the screen.

When they watched the video, they were shocked by what they saw—seeing Zipp cry and her mother saying that she can't fall in love with Hitch is unlike her. "What?! Why would Queen Haven say something like that?" Sunny said.

Izzy is concerned about all this. "Umm, Pipp, is there a reason why your mom would say that to Zipp." The unicorn said. Pipp then brought a book that explained it. "It's written in here. This book talks about an Earth pony and Pegasus falling in love. I tried asking a question about this to my mom, but she didn't answer." The Popstar said.

"Because I don't want to lose my daughter!" Queen Haven said out loud. "Mom?!" Pipp looks at her mother appears out of nowhere. "I see that you have the book. I told you not to read it." Sunny came up to her. "Your majesty, why wouldn't you let Zipp date Hitch?" She asks.

The Queen looks at her. "Because I rather have Zipp be with a Pegasus than an Earth pony. Hitch is kind, but he is no royalty to the pegasus family." She said.

Pipp now understands why her sister is mad. "Mom, how can you say something like that?!" The queen looked at her. "You are too young to understand, Pipp. Only your sister understands!" She yelled.

The pop star now believes another reason but doesn't know yet. Standing with pride, the queen left them alone.

But Pipp's persistence came in. "No matter how many times you say no, Mom!! Zipp will never abandon Hitch!!" That got her mother's attention. "I'm sorry to say this, but I'm ashamed to be your daughter." Even for herself, it hurts on the inside. The Queen, however, is shocked, but she turns away without a word.

The Queen walked the halls of her castle. She looked down and sighed in exhaustion. Until she heard her name called. "Queen Haven!!" Thunder came. "Alphabittle is here." He said.

Haven walked to the main doors of her castle to see Alphy. "Well, you are a site of beauty." He said.

The Queen and Alphy sat at a table outside to have tea and discuss. "You seem stressed out. What happen?" The leader of the unicorns asks. "It's just my daughter, my love. She doesn't feel like falling in love with a pegasus. Zephyrina rather be with an earth pony." She said with frustration.

Alphabittle, however doesn't see it that way. But what's wrong with dating an Earth pony? "So your daughter has different tastes in ponies? I don't see that as a problem." The Queen stared at him. "My daughter must fall in love with a pegasus, not an earth pony." The Unicorn leader took his tea and drank it.

Alphy asks a question. "Who is Zipp in love with?" Haven looked at him. "Hitch Trailblazer." The sheriff of Maretime Bay? "Oh, So the Sheriff. Hitch is a nice young pony. Your daughter chose the right pony." The queen puts her hoof on her cheek and wonders. "But Why? Why Choose him then, pegasus?" She stood up.

Queen Haven walked to her balcony. Alphabettle followed her to see the view of Zephyr Heights in its glory. "My daughter ignores everything I say to her. She doesn't want to listen." The Unicorn got up from his chair to give her comfort. "Maybe you need to come down a bit. It shouldn't matter if she falls in love with an earth pony." He said.

Alphy brought up a question that would change everything in life. "Are we an exception?" The queen looks at him puzzled. "Was it an accident that we fell in love? Are we showing a bad example to unicorns and pegasi?" Haven looked at him and frankly, she didn't know anymore. "I don't know. Perhaps it's just me caring about authority and leadership." That's the best answer she can come up with.

"I feel like I haven't changed at all. When magic came back." She looked over and noticed a family having fun together. "When Sunny and her friends brought it back. I feel like going to my old ways again, but now I understand what she wants." She said

The unicorn leader looked at her. "In my opinion, you should give Zipp a chance for a normal life. At least that's what I see in all this." He points out the facts. "Your da

The Queen then talked about the past. "In the past, there was a war between the earth ponies and pegasi. It was at the time when we hated each other, but a pegasus and an earth pony fell in love. Both races shun them and never been seen again." She said.

The Unicorn leader is shocked by this information. He now knows Queen Haven is worried that history is repeating itself. "Listen, my love. We are leaders of our pony kind. We have to be better and learn from our mistakes. If your daughter is in love, support your child." Alphy said.

The Queen knows that, but the one thing she needs to do is see her daughter. Only time will tell if she can handle her. But let's hope she can ask forgiveness for both her daughters.

But both leaders aren't aware of three pairs of eyes listening there conversation. "I hope my mom can open her eyes one day." The Pop star said."We need to find Hitch and Zipp. I'm getting worried about them." Sunny said, but Izzy may know their whereabouts. "I think I know where they went." The energetic unicorn said.

Later the three friends went to the cave. The same cave that Zipp and Hitch entered.

"Uhh, Izzy, are you sure they went in there." Sunny pointed her hoof towards a cave. "Yes, I'm sure. I overheard them saying they wanted to see what the orb led them to. I guess they found it inside. That and I also followed them." The Unicorn said.

Pipp looks unsure of this cave and is worried they got lost. Maybe worse, they're starving. But like her sister, she has to be strong. "Ok, guys we are going in, and we will find our friend and my Sister." She said with pride. Sunny and Izzy nodded and proceeded to enter the cave.

"Let's just hope Zoom and Thunder can handle Sparky," Izzy said as they stepped into the cave.

The cave is so dark. Even with flashlights, it doesn't help them at all. "I can't see a thing," Sunny sees blindly through the dark. But an idea popped into her head. "Wait, if I turn into my alicorn form, there will be more light." So to turn into an alicorn, she must think of something helpful.

Sunny thought of her helping her friends. Even when she united all of the pony kinds, with that said, she transformed. "I will find you guys." But the unpredictable happens.

The cave started to glow and reveal jewels and diamonds. It was a beautiful site to behold. But how did that happen? Was it because of Sunny's power? The diamonds themselves are blinking.

It's like a heartbeat but with diamonds and jewels. "Wow, it's so beautiful," Pipp said. "This place has more crystals than Bridalwood." Izzy examines her surroundings. "They must've gone this way. I can feel their presence and two other ponies. It's like this cave is alive somehow." Sunny said in awe.

But two far away, Zipp and Hitch can see the cave glowing. Both Ayla and Seeder Brook Looked at each other. Even they never knew about the cave. "What's going on?" Hitch. "I think something awakened in the cave, but who?" Alya said.

"But who can that?!" Zipp said, but as she thinks and Hitch thinks. They both realized who and said her name.

"SUNNY!!" The couple said precisely the same thing.
