A/N-I absolutely love James
and Lily together, but this is important
and they can't be together for this.
Nothing personal against them, but
it's for the plot.
Also, this book was inspired by a Tiktok
I saw, which will make more sense if
you've seen it.
We're starting off here in their seventh
year, just for the plot.
Our main character is the cousin of Sirius Black, and the youngest sister
of Bellatrix, Andromeda, and Narcissa.I hope you read the tags...

As freezing rain droplets fell from above, Ascella Black was tucked away in the Gryffindor common room. The sound of the icy mixture slamming against the tower was just loud enough to be heard along with the crackling of the fire before her.
"I'm going to love you forever, James Potter." Ascella declared as she pulled the knitted blanket closer to her chest.
"Is that so?" He questioned, the smile being evident in his tone. She just knew he was beaming with that perfect smile of his."Yes."
"Well in that case, I shall love you for all eternity Ascella Black." James declared in return, pressing a kiss to her cheek.
Ascella chuckled and began fiddling with a piece of golden thread, hanging from the sleeve of a stolen jumper. From across the room, Sirius groaned loudly. "Moony, our best mate is being all cute and sappy with my cousin again." He said dramatically, draping himself over Remus's lap.
"Oh, give it a rest, Pads... at least they're not shagging in the middle of the common room." The irritable werewolf responded, shoving Sirius off of him."Honestly Sirius, I've seen you do worse with Marlene McKinnon!" Ascella said, cringing at the memory. "I bet you'll knock before entering a room now, won't you, Ella?"
The teenage girl rolled her eyes and flipped her cousin off. "I shouldn't have needed to knock. She borrowed my potions textbook and told me to swing by to grab it after I got out of History of Magic... but you can bet your tattooed arse that I'm knocking on every door for the rest of my life. I'd rather Avada myself than see that again."
Sirius scoffed. "My arse is fantastic!" He argued. "Perhaps from Marlene's point of view, yes, but from mine... I think not."
"I think you're jealous that yours isn't as great as mine!" Sirius challenged. It was Ascella's turn to scoff as she sat up. The action drew a low whine from James, who had been comfortably cuddling with his girlfriend."I'll have you know, Sirius Orion Black, my arse is rather lovely!" Ascella said as she stood. "Especially in those jeans." James agreed.
"Okay, Ascella Seren Black, there's only one way to settle this, and it's with a vote." Sirius said. "I vote myself."
"Of course you would!" Ascella laughed.
"You would too!"
"Obviously, I'd vote myself.""Peter, who has the better arse?" Ascella questioned, turning to the boy with mousy brown hair and big blue eyes. He blushed a dark shade of crimson and shook his head. "I don't think... I shouldn't—"
"Just answer the question, Wormy."
"Ah... Ascella does... sorry Pads." Sirius's hand flew to his chest as if he was truly offended. In honesty, he probably was.
"You wound me, Wormtail."
"HA! 3 points to me, 1 for you!" Ascella declared with a triumphant grin."What about you, Moony? What do you think?" Sirius questioned.
"I think you're both idiots."
"Thats a fair stance." Ascella agreed, finally taking her spot beside James. "I still won though.""10 galleons says you won't win if we ask the rest of the school." Sirius challenged. "20 galleons says I will win." Ascella responded. The cousins shared a glare before they spoke in sync.
"Deal."
"Can you do this tomorrow? I'm rather comfortable and would like to spend some time with my girl before head boy duties sweep me away from her."
Sirius and Ascella shared a look and nodded. "I believe that can be worked out."

"You should get ready to go soon." Ascella reluctantly told James. "I know." He responded, holding her tighter. She giggled and looked up at him through her dark eyelashes.
"I'll be right here when you get back, I promise." She said, tracing circles on his bare skin. "I know." He replied again.
Ascella sat up and drew him in for a kiss. "The sooner you get your duties taken care of, the sooner you can see how—""Say no more, I'll be back in 30."
Ascella laughed loudly as he jumped out of the bed and haphazardly put clothes on, before kissing her again and running out the door.
He came back and pointed at her. "I love you, stay here. Okay? Okay! Okay." And then he was gone again.
Ascella sighed in content and fell face first into the burgundy pillow— a grin slowly spreading on her face as she snuggled further into his quidditch jersey."Oi, Ella! Are you decent?" The girl groaned loudly at the sound of her cousin's voice, as well as the incessant banging on the door.
"Yes! Bugger off, Sirius!" A moment later, Sirius was standing in the middle of the room. "No can do, we've got a big day tomorrow."
"You're starting to sound like Remus." Ascella complained.
"Merlin woman, don't say that again... its one of the last games of the season, the full moon, we have our contest, and it's a Hogsmeade weekend the day after."Ascella groaned. "And this couldn't wait until tomorrow because..?"
"Just thought I'd let you know so you could get some rest instead of shagging my best mate all night, like I'm sure you intend to."
"Get out, Sirius!" Ascella yelled as she threw a pillow at him.
The older boy barked a laugh. "Dont forget the contraceptive charm... and the silencing charm.""Sirius!"
"Alright, I'm leaving."
