Chapter 32

Colt Pov

"Arigato!" she politely uttered. Her soft voice makes me feel insecure. Alam kong di ko dapat kinukumpara ang sarili ko sa kanya dahil alam kong sa aming dalawa siya ang legal saka babae siya at ako lalaki. Kaso kahit na alam ko ang katotohanang iyon ay nanliit pa rin ako.

How the hell can Johannes cheat with this kind of woman? Why did he chase after me when he had this kind of woman in the first place? Why is he hustling himself on me when he has this woman? 
 
She is very pretty with her heart-shaped face. Her porcelain skin matches her brown, round eyes. Her shoulder-length hair complimented his face. She has a small nose, thin, small pink lips, and dimples on the corner of her lips. She looked like a college girl due to her short length. 

She smiled at me, and I could not help but smile back. Her kindness and purity were showering all over the corner. She ran her hand over her knee-length floral dress and clasped her hands afterward.  

Tiningnan ko ang anak nila na nakaupo lang at kumakain ng chocolate. Hindi malikot na bata.

"Gomenasai," she bowed her head. "I'm sorry for not introducing myself first."

Tumango nalang ako nang wala akong masagot sa kanya. Kilala kita.

Her face flushed bright red. It reminded me of Finnick's cheeks when he is embarrassed or something. Ang daling mamula ng mukha. Nakakahiya na inakala kong babae talaga si Finnick nang bitbitin siya ni Desmond noon.

"I'm Ayaka."

Tumango ulit ako.

"Colt," maikling sagot ko dito.

Mabini-bini itong ngumiti.

"I know you're in awe upon finding me in front of your house together with my son." She glanced at her son beside her, who was munching the chocolate I had given earlier. 

She showed her deep dimples once again.

"I'm so sorry. I'm so sorry for everything, Colt."

My brows almost meet at the center of my forehead.

Pinaglaruan niya ang daliri sa kanyang hita.

"I don't understand you, Mrs. Shinubo."

I was shocked when she looked at me and found his face wet with her tears. She wiped them off and laughed.

"I'm not Mrs. Shinubo anymore, Colt." she muttered.

"Huh?"

Nagtaka ako nang inabot niya ang dala niyang itim na shoulder bag at may kinuha siya doong brown envelope. Kinuha niya ang laman noon at binigay sa akin.

Hindi ko kaagad iyon kinuha sa pagkataka ko sa kanyang sinabi kanina pero tumayo ito at nilagay ang naka-staple na bondpaper sa hita ko.

"Our divorce decree has been filed and has already been signed by the judge. Johannes and I were working on our divorce papers last year, and just yesterday we were already free. The court grants our petition." Ayaka explained further, and my moist eyes dropped on the white bondpaper in my lap.
