CHAPTER 2

MIYUKI POV

Mabait din naman pala si Moma dahil one week kaming magbabakasyon sa Villa Montevilla.   Ang saya lang! Kahit na hindi ako nakasama sa fieldtrip last week parang field trip na rin ang matatawag sa pagpunta namin sa Villa Montevilla. Napakasarap kasi ng hangin don at may malawak na pataniman ng mga ubas.

Sinabi na rin nya sa principal ng school na one week akong mawawala.  Kahit na hindi na ako ipagpaalam ni Moma wala namang magagawa ang principal dahil sya ang nag mamay-ari ng University. Nakakalungkot lang dahil hindi ko makakasama ang bestfriend ko. Hindi nya raw kaya umabsent ng one week hindi raw katulad ko na kahit isang buwan na lumiban sa klase mayaman at makakapasa pa rin ako. Eh mayaman naman sya e. Masipag lang talaga sya mag-aral na akala mo pag nag-absent ng isang araw pagpapawisan na ng malapot dahil lang sa may na missed na quizzes.

"Moma, everything is ready. Let's go!" I said as I led her towards the car. I leaned against the car door while waiting for her. She came out wearing a huge hat with a flower design on the side and it was green in color. Despite her age, she still looked beautiful. She appeared to be in her mid-fifties, with smooth, light brown hair that fell to her chin. She was a sophisticated woman.

"You need to act your age, Miyuki. You're 19 but you act like you're only 13!" She approached me. Here we go again. But I was excited to go to the Villa, so I nodded four times and pretended to be sophisticated. Even though I felt nauseous acting like a sophisticated woman, I still did it. I prefer being called an ordinary person because I dislike intrigue too much.

Inalalayan sya ni Butler Lim habang pasakay ng Limousine. Sumakay na rin ako pagkatapos tinext ko si Bhessy na paalis na kami. Hihiramin ko nalang notes nya pagdating ko.

ALLEA P.O.V

Grabe talaga si Bhessy handang isakripisyo ang mga subjects namin makapagliwaliw lang. Parang nakawala lang sa hawla ang peg. Sabagay kahit naman ako kung nataon na nasa kalagayan nya mananabik ako sa tanawin sa labas. Ang maging Lola si Donya Cassandra Montevilla ay isang napalaking OH MY GOD, pero kahit ganoon yun, mabait pa rin naman may pagka-perfectionist kasi ang Moma ni Bhessy.

This is why I'm walking alone in the corridor. I miss her noise. I quietly entered the room and sat at the far end because Zack gave me a deadly look. But damn, he's so handsome. Hihi. I'm sitting beside Luke, one of Zack's friends. He's also handsome, tall with kissable blue hair, but he looks more handsome with his hair.

Zack looked at me while searching for something? But I wondered why he kept looking at the door, is he waiting for someone? Our professor came in, so I looked at the front.

"Listen up class, Miss Miyuki Jazella Montevilla will be excused for one week because of some business matters. So, class, what was the last topic we discussed in our previous meeting?" We turned to Zack's direction when he suddenly stood up and slammed the door shut. What happened?

Hayaan na nga.

*Bell rang*

I quickly grabbed my bag and left. I looked at Bhessy's seat and went straight to the cafeteria. But before I could enter, Zack and his handsome friends blocked my way.

"Where the hell is your best friend hiding?" Hiding? Do I have a best friend who's hiding? The only best friend I know is Bhessy. What is he talking about?

"I don't know what you're talking about?" Why is he accusing me? It's impossible that he's referring to Bhessy because she's allergic to men.

"Cut that, you fucking don't know! Just answer me, where the fuck is she?" Oh no, this guy is getting out of control. I said I didn't know, but he's still insisting.
