Klaus' POV

Klaus, Elijah, Freya, and Kol are standing in the compound having just updated each person about the day's earlier events.

"I'll draw Davina's spirit to a circle. As long as she's there, the Ancestors won't be able to torment her. With luck that will buy you some time to find a way to resurrect her, but I'll need to channel an Original if I'm going to sustain the spell." Freya explains to the group.

"Well, take me. Put me down for all I care, it is keeps her safe." Kol states passionately.

"No, you've been marred by the Ancestors' magic, so, Klaus, Elijah, Rock, paper, Scissors." Freya says to her brothers.

"I want you to wait if you can. I've called my little researcher and he should be here soon enough. He will be able to help." Klaus says to the group with pride tingeing his voice.

"You're bringing in another witch?" Freya asks.

"No, he's a vampire." Klaus states.

"How is a vampire meant to help?" Kol asks incredulous.

"Wait. Is this the person who helped you plan to kill Dahlia and gave you that spell to kill her and managed to find a way to save Camile?" Elijah questions Klaus.

Before Klaus has a chance to reply all the candles on the table near them go up in flames.

"That can't be good." Elijah states.

"My early warning system. I think a New Orleans witch is trying to meddle with one of you." Freya admits.

"Lucien has the new regent at his beck and call. it's me he's coming after." Klaus says confidently.

The painting of Rebekah goes up in flames.

"No. He's going after Rebekah." Freya disagrees.

"Lucien thought that killing Cami would have me charging into his lair on a suicide mission. Good thing Little Red is smarter. When it didn't, he set his sights on Rebekah. He's kicking hornets' nests, until we have no choice but to confront him." Klaus informs the room.

"Presumably, he still believes she's at the bottom of the ocean." Elijah says.

"I cloaked all of you, but with the Ancestors working for Lucien, it may take a while, but if he wants to find Rebekah, he will." Freya explains.

"I'll go get her." Klaus informs them.

"It's not safe out there." Freya warns him.

"What then?! Are we to sit here and play cards until Lucien slides Rebekah's bitten corpse down the hall? If he gets her and we are unable to leave then we can't keep her safe and the spell we used on Cami needed her in front of you, holding hands." Klaus says impatiently.

"Let me go." Elijah exclaims as he goes to leave the room, only to be stopped by Klaus' hand on his arm.

"I moved her." Elijah looks surprised at this, "What, don't look so surprised. I never did like you two sharing secrets."

"Tell me where she is, unless you expect me to stay here and leave our sister entirely defenceless." Elijah says frustrated.

"I expect you to prevent Kol from suffering the same loss that we have both felt in the past. Lucien deserves our collective ire. Today, your grievances are tabled." Klaus explains.
