Fear

I'm the monster in your closet,

I'm the ghost inside your walls,

I'm the screaming in your head

That never, ever stalls.

I'm waiting, waiting patiently

To get inside your head,

So that I can take you down

And rip your mind to shreds.

Won't you let me hold your hand,

And take you for a spin?

Don't worry I won't hurt you,

I just want to win.

You might not ever lose me,

I'm so easy to keep,

I'll keep you screaming mentally,

I'll tear you up and make you weak.

I'm the terror beneath your eyelids,

I'm the spirit you wish to lose,

But darling you will never win,

You can only lose.
