How thankful I am
To have them by my hand
My faithful old pair of boots
They've walked a hundred miles with me
Carried a few thousand burdens with me
And still they do not camplain to me
My trusty old pair of boots
Through rivers and streams
Between boulders and trees
My boots take me everywhere
Over rolling hills and teacherous mountains
Through kingdoms of imagination,
Palaces of decoration
They carry me through times of hardship
Keeping me warm in places of cold
"The time has come," they said to me,
"These boots are worn of necessity."
But still I hold on- they mean something to me
My boots have carried mine and other's
Troubles and concerns,
Aches and pains,
But still they do not complain to me
They'd walk another day with me
My lovely old pair of boots.
