The Betrayal of the Dragon God(Highschool dxd X Male Reader)

Y/n's Backstory

3rd Person POV

In the town known as Kuoh, a quiet and peaceful town, a boy was walking home from school, this boy is Y/n L/n. He is your average 12 year old boy, very obedient, very well mannered and takes pride in helping others. As he gets home, he sees the door unlocked, this surprises him but he walks inside to see that the house is not lit and he hears his mother scream, y/n runs towards the room where the screams are coming from and finds his father dead on the floor with a light spear pierced through his heart, already seeing this y/n's tears start forming, looking on he sees a fallen angel about to kill his mother, "RUN Y/N", his mother shouts. The fallen then kills her as y/n bursts into tears and sobs uncontrollably, "MOM!" y/n yelled. The fallen then turns around with a wicked smile on his face, ready to kill y/n.

"Looks like I got lucky tonight, Kokabiel's gonna be really impressed", the fallen murmurs followed by a sick laugh afterwards.

 As the fallen summons the light spear to kill him, there is a massive burst of energy which kills the former. As the energy dies down, it is revealed that the energy was released by y/n as his strong emotions had awakened his powers. 

Y/n then runs out into the forest to get away from all of it, upon getting there he starts crying uncontrollably and slowly starts to realize what had just happened.

Y/n POV 

"Why was that man there, what did mom and dad do to deserve this?", I still couldn't believe what I had just witnessed and I immediately burst into tears and started sobbing uncontrollably.

Just then I heard a voice, "Do you seek power hatchling?" The mysterious voice said. This voice commanded power and respect.

"Who are you?", I asked while try to calm myself down.

"I am your ancestor young one!"

"Are you the one I've heard so many stories about?" I asked as I now sat under a tree while wiping my tears.

"Indeed, it is I Bahamut, The Dragon God of Annihilation!"

To say I was shocked was an understatement, I had heard many stories about Bahamut but I didn't actually think he was real and to hear him talking to me was beyond incredible.

"Wait a minute, HOW ARE YOU TALKING TO ME?"

My mind had just now registered that if it was indeed my ancestor, how was he talking to me? Wouldn't he have been alive thousands of years ago?

"Ahahaha, calm down hatchling, I am able to talk to you because you are the reincarnation of me, which means you have inherited my powers."

I couldn't believe what I had just heard, I was just told that I am the reincarnation of the strongest dragon god in existence by that being itself.

"I... am the reincarnation o-of the d-dragon god of a-a-Annihilation?"

"Yes that is correct hatchling, you are indeed."

"H-how long h-have you b-b-been watching me?"

"I have been observing you your entire life hatching and believe me you will make a very fine dragon god!"

Hearing this had sparked a fire within me.

"So when do we start training, I want to be strong enough to protect others and keep the them safe."

"We will start your training starting tomorrow if you are comfortable with that seeing what just happened earlier." 

"We'll start from tomorrow, I want to be able to protect those I love and be strong enough to help others, plus it'll keep my mind occupied so I can't keep thinking about it."

"Now we're talking, you will make a fine dragon god young hatchling, get some rest, you deserve it."

'I will become strong enough to protect and help others.' I thought with a determination.

Author-kun: Well... little does he know... fate won't be so kind to him since character development be like:

A/n: Y/n already knows about the supernatural since his parents were High tier mages, don't flame me for tragic backstory I planned it since I couldn't think of anything else haters gon hate. I love making mc suffer thru betrayal but imma give him the revenge arc he deserves.

P.S. 5 year training arc will be timeskipped where y/n will train with Bahamut in the dimensional gap, his personality doesn't change until after betrayal because in his mind he is still that boy that is determined to helping everyone, the death of his parents will haunt him but he will learn to cope with it, Peerage arc in the next chapter. And as this is the backstory I'll be changing some stuff in the bio as well.
