Y/n is one of Rias Gremory's most loyal servants and is happily dating the girls until Issei Hyoudou joins the peerage... soon everything changes as y/n's life takes a dark turn.

P.S: First story so...
It's a bright and sunny day in the town of Kuoh and the time is 3pm. We see the Gremory peerage (and Irina) all just sitting in their usual spots and talking to each other with the exception of Koneko who's eating sweets like always. Suddenly an orange teleportation circle with the symbol of Phenex appears and out walks a tall and handsome devil with blonde hair, this devil is Riser Phenex, a pure blooded devil who looks down on low-class devils.

Timeskip to after Riser does his whole speech thing in 3rd person and Issei gets schooled
Y/n POV
"Man that Riser guy is a pain in the ass"
"Tell me about it, he keeps coming to see me", said Rias
"Well, let's just focus on winning this rating game."
"Right!", Rias said with excitement.
We now arrive at the scene where the peerage is training together and Issei destroys the mountain.
Y/n POV
"Nice job Issei!", Rias said happily.
"Yea that was incredible."
issei has a smug look on his face
Thanks Rias, Y/n!"
3rd person POV
The day of the rating game arrives, everyone is ready to try their best to win together, to protect Rias' honor and save her from this arranged marriage, we now arrive to where Riser almost kills Issei and Rias agrees to marry Riser. But surprise surprise, Y/n intercepts.
Y/n POV
"Not on my watch."
I swiftly attack Riser but he doesn't even get a scratch and instantly regenerates from it
"Shit!"
Riser swiftly uses his phoenix flames to cause burns to me, I lay on the ground staring at Rias in Riser's arms, tears in her eyes as they teleport away and I lose consciousness
3rd person POV
We are now at the Phenex mansion in the underworld where Rias is in her engagement dress standing next to Riser, the peerage looks on, all of them dressed fancily, suddenly, the big door to the hall opens violently, Y/n stands there, his blue eyes glowing, the guards all on the floor, Issei standing next to him, as Riser is about to call the guards, Sirzechs Lucifer, the current Devil King, stops him and informs him that he is the one who arranged this for "entertainment".
"What entertainment my lord?", said Riser angrily
Sirzechs replies sternly, "A duel between you and Y/n, the winner gets anything of their choosing."
(also, A/n, if you're wondering why it's Y/n here instead of Issei, i'm author-kun lol so my choice)
"Riser is very interested now, very well, if Riser wins, he shall take all of your girls and they will become my toys to play with." Riser says, laughing manically.
Sirzechs now asks Y/n, "and y/n, what would you like if you win this duel?"
Y/n answers immediately, "I want Rias Gremory."
The duel begins and Y/n, with a small bit of help from Issei, defeats Riser using a cross and holy water as a last resort, however, this is where things take a dark turn for our protagonist, as the griffin arrives to pick up Rias, it is Issei that sits with her, not y/n, Rias then says something that breaks y/n, "you were a useful toy, but there's no need of you anymore, so you can go rot." suddenly, Rias shoots an orb of destruction at him which hits him and kisses Issei passionately as they fly away on the griffin, the orb causes extreme burns to him which reveals the truth to him, he was only useful to get Rias out of her arranged marriage with Riser, he was used for his power, nothing but a tool, as Y/n falls into the void when the floor breaks, he vanishes.
Y/n POV
"what.. did I do.. to deserve this.. I.. sacrifice myself for them.. and this is how they repay me?"
I teleport back to the human world to a mountain near the ocean, it's the middle of the night, I lean against a rock while sitting on the ground, inspecting my burns, wondering what I had done to be betrayed like this, suddenly everything goes dark, I'm in some sort of void like space, a giant dragon towers in front of me and speaks in a commanding tone, "my child, what have they done to you?"

"A-ancestor.. is t-that you?", I ask in shock.
The massive dragon replies in it's powerful and commanding voice, "It is indeed I, Bahamut, your ancestor, I observed what happened to you young one, you are one of the purest souls I have seen, yet you get used like that, almost dying at the hands of those devils. You, young one, are ready to wield the full might of the powers bestowed to you."
I just process that information in shock, "you think, I'm ready?" I say in surprise.
"Indeed you are child." Bahamut replies as his voice fades and darkness consumes everything.
Suddenly, I wake up still on the mountain overlooking the ocean, but all the burns and pain I was feeling are suddenly gone, I look at the areas where my wounds were, nothing, completely gone.
"huh.. seems ancestor was right." I say to myself quietly, my expression now soft but stoic.
more in next chapter since this one was almost a thousand words, but I'm happy about how well this chapter ended and have so much more in mind for this, meaning, more stuff to look forward to in the next chapter, peace my folks and thank you for the support on this <3.
