Chapter III: Fire

*Brice POV*

I thought that I could find Seto down in the workshop.  Pushing open the section of nether brick, I started to climb down.  Mutters coming from below told me that my assumption was correct.

Seto was hunched up over the table in a spinny chair, papers strewn everywhere, nose in a book.

"S-Seto?"  I was nervous to disturb him

He grunted in reply.

"I think that something's wrong with me. I keep seeing flashes of bright light,"

Seto wheeled around to face me.  His eyes stared into mine, as if trying to find out my secrets.  I noticed that his eyes were a vivid tint of purple.

"Brice, those bright flashes you're seeing, they're just signs.  signs that are telling me what your main power is.  another way to find out your power is with the eyes.  as you can see, my eyes are purple, signifying my ender power,"

To prove his point, Seto teleported to his bookshelf and grabbed a book off.

"That's all fine and dandy Seto, but what is my power?  You haven't told me yet,"

Seto grabbed my arm and pushed me towards a mirror which was covered with magnificent carvings.  I was eventually staring into my own auburn eyes.

"You are the fire element.  the rarest of the rare since all the others were killed off.  You'll have to learn how to control it, otherwise a friendly flame could end up into a wicked wildfire,"

*Seto POV*

Brice could be useful to us.  Many sorcerers nowadays are scared of the elemental breeds that they killed off.  What I can't tell him though is that he is the strongest of all the bloodline elements, with powers to rival even mine.

"Brice, you should start getting to sleep because we have a big day ahead of us with this newfound information,"

He climbed back onto the ladder with no complaint, yawning.  I sighed and placed the big textbook down in front of me.  It was going to be a long night.  Why did he have to be so mysterious?  He can never find out...
