Leidavathans POV
(My bæ)
My heart sinks at the empty feeling of being Mateless, Hayley's streaky brown hair sticks to her wet tears as she lounges on my couch,
Bawling her eyes out and praying that I am no one elses, hoping I stay single and dejected like her.
A short petite girl walks in,
Wearing a tight half top and high waisted mini shorts.
Her hair is short, blonde and stiff.
Her body curve less and her looks an average 5 ½.
She cups her hand over her face and turns round, to my dismay.
"Where's Rory?"
I hear her ask someone outside.
"Sh" the person replies.
I quiver with curiosity.
My hand wedged at my side as a loft of awkwardness falls over me and the two girls who are not my mates.
Soon the girl who I presume is Angel returns, with another blonde at her side. This one is taller and thinner. Her body on a slender lean.
Her hair is just passed her shoulders,
With light streaks of burnette running through it.
Her eyes are light blue with a dark arch of thick eyebrows outlining them,
A style I don't expect much teenage girls to find attractive these days.
Who knows, these girls are 17?
Maybe thick eyebrows is the new trend. Its been a very long time since I was young enough to know that stuff. Roughly seven years.
Her head tilts forward in acknowledgment, and I see it,
Her artistic mark along her neck.
I cannot wait to create my own marking, to embed my canines into the soft tender skin of my mate, while she cries out in uneasy pleasure.
"Where is Aurora?"
The eyebrow girl looks away and then towards me again.
"Rory isn't coming, she..uh..she doesn't believe in second chances."
My heart churns a little.
"Second chances?"
My words seem to sadden the blonde eyebrow girl and Angel answers instead.
"Roars, she was rejected two years ago. And apparently a second chance isn't real."
Her hands are now placed on her thin hips, but she keeps her eyes shut tight. She has a small flower tattooed on her wrist.
I always did find tattoos attractive.
"Angel, can we just get this over with"
"No no no, Rory and I have to do it at the same time!" She cries.
"You have three hours.
If 'Rory' doesn't show up then you will both be kicked out of this pack"
