She growls at the leathered lady before her,
"What.Ever, Your going to receive a call very shortly. It is most likely your rogue mother. Every word is recorded and I want your manners to be as strict as we taught you.

Rory leans over and pulls the white plastic phone towards her ear.
"Hello?"
Boom, that voice was clearly recognizable.
"Hi mom"
"Oh Roars you sound so, so, so"
"Mature?"
"Yes"
She rolls her eyes at her filthy mother's voice.
"Well what is it you want to tell me?"
"Ah yes. You are aware that your Alphas binding packs right?"
"Mhm"
"Stay aware Rory one of those men may be your second chance mate!"
Her heart thuds in her ears, bursting through her luminous skin.
"No mom I had my chance.
I blew it"
Her moms voice becomes harder and she is automatically frightened.
"Roars I have to go but If you do meet him by any chance, remember that there is no such thing as love, that word is but a four letter myth buried deep in the heart of a lost soul"
Her mother and fathers love story painted this picture perfectly.
"Okay, I'll stay aware"
"I love you-"
She places the phone down and stares at Mrs Barker.
"A Hybrid finding love?"
She scoffs her slim fingers covering her vicious laugh.
"Rory you must understand.
Hybrids don't live, there is much to little of your 'species' remaining.
You will not last. You will not succeed"
Her eyes fall to her feet and she hurries her way to the door.
"Just watch me"

Ron and the others sit around Rory's
Bed, comforting her emotional state.
"My dad is such a dork!
If I had of just stayed put he wouldn't have screwed up your love life!"
Yells Kenzi, pulling her forehead with her damp palms.
"It wasn't your fault Kenzi it was all me, if I had just left you. Then maybe he wouldn't have done what he did and maybe I would have a mate by my side right now"
Rory tries to comfort her fallen friend, crying more when she doesn't respond.
"Look, everything is going to be fine"
"Right Myra? You can do one of your witch permanition things and then it will all going to be okay"
"Sorry Zander my witch powers can't be forced. They have to be activated by natural instincts"
Myra's long tangy red hair flows freely past her shoulders,
Framing her heart shaped face.
"Its okay guys"
Rory mutters,
Interrupting Zanders attempt to frighten Myra into a permanition.
"I'm a lone wolf, and a hungry vampire. May we please leave so I can feed on a helpless human"
Her attempt to lighten the mood works a little as everyone stands and leaves the cold room,
"I'll show you Mrs Barker"
