I took her hand and brought them over to the others as they looked at me with concern but Merry, and Pippin were excited to meet my friend. "Guys, this is my friend Joslin. Joslin, this is Aragorn son of Arathorn, Legolas son of Thranduil," I said blushing and my friend had a smile on her face when she saw my face turn red. "Gimli son of Gloin, Boromir son of Denethor, Frodo Baggins, Samwise, Merry, and Pippin." I finished. My friend Joslin also had her ears pointed just like Legolas, that is because her mother and father were half elves and half skin changers. Mostly her ears are pointer than mine but that's okay. My parents only met when my father got shot in the heart with an arrow by an orc.

I felt that anger rise in me when I was younger and killed him with my bare hands. Later when I was a little older my mother got killed trying to protect me from orcs. I was alone until I met my cousin Beorn. I have felt happy since then and I still have the companionship I have with me now... "It's nice to meet you all. I'm Joslin. I am also part elf and part skin changer but mostly my parents were elves. They really haven't unleashed their animal form in centuries and I was the first one to break that cycle." Joslin explained to them, while shaking their hands.

They stopped shaking their hands when Gandalf told us to keep going to get out of the mines of Moria. Me and Joslin walked together while we talked and caught up with each other. Behind me Legolas was glaring at us with jealousy and I could feel it behind me, so I turned around and ushered Legolas to walk with us. He was surprised and gladly joined us without walking and talking. Joslin always made funny jokes because we would always come up with random stuff and I would laugh so hard when she made one.

Then a question came up in my head, "Joslin, where are the others? They should've been with you." I asked, as I was concerned. Joslin looked at me confused, "What are you talking about? You don't remember what you said to us? You said we should split up for a while just in case Beorn found out about us so he doesn't know where we are." Joslin explained. My hand smacked against my forehead as I said, "Oh yeah, that's right! How could I forget?!" I scolded myself. Legolas tapped my shoulder, "Hey, it's alright we all forget things that are important to us. We may remember funny and nice things that important stuff can be forgotten easily." Legolas said. My friend just stared at him with shock.

She leaned toward me and whispered in my ears, "Your boyfriend is really wise." she said. I blushed when she said the word, 'boyfriend'. I gave her a glare that said, 'We will have a little talk about this missy'. My friend giggled at me. Legolas looked at us as Joslin quit giggling to herself, we came to the center of the hall when we heard goblins coming down from the roof of the mines of Moria. They had us surrounded, "What kind of haunted place is this?!" Joslined shouted at me, "Does it look like I know Joslin?!" I shouted back at her as she shrugged in 'fair point'. Suddenly a roar erupted from somewhere and Gandalf's eyes were full of fear when the goblins escaped the place by climbing back into their hole, "RUN! TO THE BRIDGE OF KHAZAD-DUM" Gandalf yelled at all of us. We ran and ran there until we had a little problem.

We had to jump because a part of the stairs were gone so me, Joslin, and Legolas jumped to the other side safely and me and Joslin ushered the hobbits to jump so we could catch them. The three hobbits jumped as me and Joslin caught them. Gimli didn't need to be caught so he jumped and barely made it so Legolas pulled him up with his bread and Gimli didn't like that so me and Joslin chuckled at the sight of it. Gandalf had no problem jumping to the other side and the only people that were left were Aragorn and Frodo. We tried to make them jump but the stairs were starting to crumble so they leaned forward and jumped when the stairs came close enough to jump to us. Legolas caught Frodo and Aragorn was okay himself.

We ran across the bridge to safety but when we crossed something broke the bridge and I looked back. The Balrog was awakened and he had brought a fiery whip with him. Gandalf told us to run, but he stood behind us (Okay I might change up the story right now because I don't want Gandalf to die so yeah). I quickly shifted into my dragon form. Someone tried to grab me but I was out of their grasp as I flew above Gandalf. "You. Shall. Not. Pass!" Gandalf yelled and when he said this I charged myself up as light forces came and invaded the creature's space and for my eyes have turned black with rage hidden inside of me taking over me but I soon calmed down.

The creature was giving up as I landed beside Gandalf that also helped put with his staff. After the creature had been defeated or put back to sleep I grabbed Gandalf and ran out of Moria and the others followed. I let go of Gandalf as he turned toward me, I shifted back to my normal form, hand on my head. "Dawn, you shouldn't have done that! You could have gone with the others when I was dealing with the Balrog!" he said angrily. I looked up at him with exhaustion, "I...I know...Gandalf...I just wanted to make...sure that you didn't get dragged..." I said between breaths.

Gandalf looked at me in concern as I closed my eyes and almost fell to the ground when Joslin caught me. Joslin looked up at the others, "She drained most of her energy using her light to drive away the Balrog that was made of fire and shadow. The light was the only thing to defeat or put back in its long sleep." Joslin explained. Legolas came over to Joslin and took me in his arms, Joslin looks at him with confusion.

She nods and lets him carry me for a while when I woke up at the camp they set up.

Sorry had to stop here. I promise that I won't do that in the middle of something interesting!
