I walked up the dirty stairway up to the rooftop where I often went to clear my mind. I opened the door and a gentle wind blew my hair back a little. I walked over to the ledge and rested my arms on it, leaning against the short wall as I looked out at Seoul, the city I had spent the last few years of my life in.

I then took a pack of cigarettes out of my zip-up jacket's pocket and shaked it quickly before taking one out and putting the pack back inside my pocket. I then took my lighter out and put the cigarette in my mouth, lighting it before I put the lighter back into my pocket as well. I took a hit and exhaled the smoke out of my mouth.

I felt tears that I hadn't even realized I was holding in tears that started to come out of my tear ducts. School was stressful today and when I came home it just became even more stressful with my mom being home. I decided to just let myself cry since no one was around, letting out my frustration of the day.

That's when I heard the door to the rooftop open and I immediately turned to face the direction of the door. I sniffled a little as I made eye contact with a boy who was about my age. He was wearing a zip-up hoodie with the hood up that blocked my full view of his face.

I immediately wiped my tears, somewhat aggressively, and turned back around, looking out at the city once again. I took another hit from my cigarette and I saw in the corner of my eye the person standing a few feet away from me, also looking out at the view.

"You can continue crying, I won't judge." He spoke and I just looked at him, letting out a sigh before I looked forward once again.

"Thanks, I guess." I say back, unsure on what to say. It was silent for a minute or so before I felt him tap my shoulder. I looked over at him once again and he was holding out a joint.

"You want?" He asked. I had smoked weed before when I was 14 but I hadn't done it since then considering it was quite anticlimactic. I hadn't really felt that much of a high even after smoking it for a while.

"Sure." I say, it never hurt to try things again. I take the blunt from his hand and take a hit from it.

"What's your name, if you don't mind me asking?" He asks and I take another hit before answering.

"Lili." I respond and he just nods as he holds his hand out, asking for his blunt back. I give it back to him, "What's yours?" He asks.

"Heeseung." He responds and I nod in response as well. He takes a hit before handing me back the blunt. I couldn't believe I was sharing a blunt with a stranger on the rooftop.

He holds out the blunt for me to take once again, I could feel his stare on me. "How old are you?" He asked.

"I'm 19." I responded.

"So I'm guessing you're a senior?" Heeseung asks and I nod in response.

"How old are you?" I ask, he looked to be around my age but I was curious.

"20." He answers and I nod in response. So he's out of high school? I watch as he takes his phone out and types something on it. He then looks back over at me. "I gotta go, keep the blunt." He tells me as he shuts his phone off and puts it back in his pocket.

"Oh okay, um, thanks." I say as I watch him walk away.

He then turns around quickly, "I'll see you around, Lili." He says before he walks back inside the building.
