Nico left Jasons cabin feeling a little lost. Normally his blond friend could make him feel better. However his charm wasn't working today.
The problem was Nico had a crush on Will Solace. Yes the healer of Camp Half-Blood. Nicos complete opposite. And yet as the old saying goes 'opposites attract'.
It wasn't the fact Nico had a crush on Will that made Nico visit his personal therapist. It was that Will had a date today. With a girl from his school.
There wasn't anything Nico could do. There was nothing to stop Will from liking the girl and dating her.
'Life is so unfair,' Nico thought as he opened the door to his cabin. He knew he sounded like a ungrateful child but he didn't really care. He slammed the door harder than he meant to, flopped on his bed, and decided to to sleep.
"Oh Death Boy~"

Will cheerfully opened his door with a medical bag. "Time for a check-up."
"No," Nico put his pillow over his head to stop the suns glare.
"Yes," Will yanked the pillow off him. "Are you okay? You seem more zombie-like that usual," Nico knew Will was making a joke to cheer him up but his scowl only deepened.
"Tired. Didn't get much sleep," Nico grumbled.
"Its fine. You scared me though," Will said as he began the routine he usually did that Nico didn't really pay attention to. All he did when Will checked him out was stare at him. As creepy as that sounds Nico couldn't pull his eyes away.
"I heard you had a date," the words slipped out of his mouth before he realized.
"Oh yeah. Her name is Leah," Will nodded as he took Nicos blood pressure. "I feel like i'll let her down though. I mean shes nice and pretty but i don't like her like that. I just couldn't find a way to say no."
A glimmer of hope spread through Nico.
"Not to be nosy but a lot of girls have had their eyes on you, and yet Ive never seen you date one. Are you straight?" Nico realized only after that may be offensive.
Will chuckled not seeming offended whatsoever. "Nope. Im actually gay."
Nicos eyes widened a little. He had a chance.
"Why not just tell her you are gay? Why waste your time or hers?"
"Because my dumbass only thought about that till after i agreed," Will said finally done. He began to clean up his supplies.
"Bye Death Boy! I'll see you after my date," Will chirped as he left.
"Bye," Nico offhandedly replied. He had a lot to think about.
A few hours later
"So how was it?" Kayla blurted as soon as Will entered his cabin.
"I hated it. I told her i was gay and she made fun off me for it," Will muttered.
"Is it bad that im kind if happy about that?" Kayla smirked.
"What do you mean?"
"Oh come ON William! Literally EVERYONE knows you have a crush on Nico and Nico is practically head-over-heels in love with you. Just date already!"
Wills head was spinning. Nico what?
"Go get your man," Kayla nudged him toward the door. "Don't come back till your dating."
Will mouthed a 'F you' to her and left for Nicos cabin.
A few mins later
Will nervously knocked. Now that Kayla gave him a slap in the face he noticed all the signs. How had he not realized his own feelings? He really was a dumbass.
"Oh hey Will," Nico said as he opened the door. "How was your-"
Will knew it was super cliché kissing your crush at their doorstep. But he didn't care. He smashed his lips onto Nicos.
The younger boy froze in shock. Will was kissing him. Will. His crush. Kissing. HIM. Nico felt inner fireworks.
Will was just about to pull away but Nico didn't let him. He cupped Wills face and kissed him back. It was Will turn to be shocked.
Both boys pulled away breathless. They stared at each other in the same position blushes on both their faces.
"W-Why did you do that?" A flustered Nico asked. "What about your date?"
"As it turns out shes homophobic so i ended it early," Will said in disgust. "Besides if i didn't i couldn't do this," he gave Nico a small peck on the lips again.
"Nico i was an idiot. I should have asked sooner."
Will looked Nico in the eyes as Nico stated back into Wills blue ones. Then the son of Apollo took a breath for encouragement then said, "Nico i love you. Will you be my boyfriend?"
"Do you really need an answer? Yes dummy!" A grin spread across Nicos face and he gave Willa bone crushing hug.
