A few days had passed since Emma had returned home, and there was still no sign of Neal. Emma hoped this meant he had given up, but she knew him better than that.

Oliver was doing really well. He had opened up quickly to his Grandparents, Uncle and older brother. He had no problem talking to them. He still had nightmares and he didn't like to leave Emma's side for long, but things were looking up.

Parker was having a harder time adjusting. He clung to Emma and wouldn't let anyone else hold him. David, Mary Margaret and Henry had all tried, but he would just cry.

Emma was doing as well as could be expected. She was still on edge, and she was pretty jumpy. Emma was having nightmares almost every night. She kept dreaming about Neal coming and taking the kids. Between her nightmares and Oliver's, Emma felt like she barely got any sleep. Emma didn't tell her parents about her dreams, instead she kept them to herself.

Emma had tried to regain control of her magic now that she was back in Storybrooke, but she wasn't having any luck. Regina thought it might have to do with her emotions and how long she had been away. Emma couldn't help but wonder if her pregnancy had anything to do with it.

When Regina had learned about what happened, she immediately came to see Emma. She had used her own magic to heal Emma's and Oliver's wounds the best that she could, which Emma was extremely thankful for. She couldn't stand seeing her little boy in so much pain.

It was four days after Emma had arrived in Storybrooke, and she was getting ready for her first appointment.

"Are you ready, Emma?" Her mother was practically bouncing with excitement.

Emma looked up. "Shh, I just got him to sleep." She nodded at her youngest son who was sound asleep in her arms.

"Sorry." She whispered.

"Maybe I shouldn't do this. I don't know if I should leave them."

Her mother gave her a small understanding smile. "The boys will be just fine with your dad, and we won't be gone long."

"I know, but Parker..."

"Might not even wake up."

Emma sighed. "But if he does..."

David walked in the door. "Then I'll be right here. I know Parker hasn't warmed up to us like Oliver has, but I'm sure he will soon. He will be just fine. Nothing is going to happen to those boys while I'm here."

Emma nodded. "I know. It's not that I don't trust you, because I do. It's just...are you sure you want to watch them? If Parker wakes up..."

Her father chuckled. "You missed your brother's terrible two stage. Parker's crying is nothing compared to that. Go to your appointment, they will be fine."

Emma stood up and planted a kiss to her son's blonde curls, before placing him gently in his crib. She had just made it to the living room when Oliver threw his arms around her legs.

"Don't go, mommy. Please don't go." He cried. Emma hadn't expected this, not from him. He had been doing so well and he loved his Grandpa.

Emma knelt down to be on eye level with him. "I'm just going to an appointment, I'll be back soon."

"I wanna come too!"

"It's going to be really boring. You'll have a lot more fun with Grandpa and Uncle Leo."

Oliver shook his head stubbornly. "I don't wanna stay with Grandpa." He now had tears forming in his green eyes.

Emma looked up and could see the hurt on her father's face, though he tried to hide it.
