I noticed it right away. His body kind of tensed up and one of the girls kinda smiled. We go get our ice cream anyways.
"Do you want to eat outside" he asks
"Yeah sure"
We walk outside and sit at one of the tables.
"Are you ok" I ask
"Yeah I'm good"
"Are you sure you looked really tense"
"Yeah I'm fine don't worry about it"
"Who was that"
"My ex and her friend" he said
I go back to eating my ice cream because it got kinda awkward. I didn't really think much of it though because he was such a good guy. Suddenly the girls walk past our table and one slides him a note. She was a short blonde with a nose piercing. The other looked pretty much the same just brunette.
"Um what the fuck" I say
He opens it and reads it quick but before I say anything else he throws it away.
"She's fucking crazy" he says
"Clearly"
"How about we go, it's getting kinda late"
"Sure" I say "could you drop me off at kies house. She's been dying to see me"
"But what if I want to hang out with you"
"We've been hanging out for like the past month" I say laughing
"Yeah well I will never get sick of you so it's ok"
"I'm staying at kies tonight but after we can hang out again" I say "I promise"
"That sounds like a deal"
I smile as we pull up to kies house.
"Bye soph" he says as he gives me a quick kiss
"Bye rafe" I say getting out of the car.
I knock on the door and kie answers. Rafe waits until I get inside and then he leaves.
"So how's rafe" she asks
"Good. He just took me out to get ice cream"
"Aww cute. I've never seen him act like this before"
"What do you mean"
"He's just so nice to you. He's never really been like that"
"Well good to know" I say laughing
She agrees and we catch up with eachother for a while. The next like 3 we just talk about ram do stuff until I get a call from jj.
"Hello" I say
"Yo where are you right now"
"At kies house. Why"
"I'll tell you when we get there" he says quick and hangs up the phone
"What was that about" kie said
"Idk he just asked where I was and said he would tell me when he gets here"
"That's never good"
"Yeah I know" I say
After about 10 minutes someone barges in the front door. We go downstairs and see jj, pope, and John b.
"You're never gonna believe what we just saw" pope said
