The tall blades of grass blew in the wind as it was a nice spring day here we see Luna probably only about 4-6 she was helping her mother pick the weeds out of the garden as she held a handful of grass instead "mummy look look!" The young child Luna smiled widely bringing the clumps of grass to her mum.

As she just gave the little one a smile "very good my little Dew drop, now go see if your father needs any help" her mother smiled softly her kind eyes looking into the child's one as the little girl put the grass back down and waddled back inside the small house looking for her father "daddy!" The little one called out looking for her dad as he suddenly picks her up and puts her on his shoulders "I'm here I'm here" he smiled as Luna laughed as she was happy.

Everything was so perfect.

But all good things have to come to an end

Thats just the matter of life isn't it? You can't live your life without pain and sorrow seeking its way in slowly.

She doesn't remember how or when her mother had gotten sick but she did remember the progression of the illness,

First was coughing,

Uncontrollably coughing to the point of not breathing-

Then there was the vomiting resulting in her mother getting really skinny unable to keep anything down,

Then there was the drowsiness unable to get out of bed some days being to weak.

Fourth was the coughing and vomitting up blood.

The young girl seeing blood spew out of her mothers mouth frightened her a whole lot as she had gotten older the vision slowly faded but until then it would keep the little one up at night being scared on not knowing what was going on.

Fiveth the high fever, her mother was always hot her sheets would be soaked in sweat unable to cool down no matter what.

Her father called a doctor in but to no effect they had never seen anything like this before.

"is she gonna be ok?" Her father asked worried as he held onto his sleeping wife's hand as the little girl looked at her mother in concern not understanding the seriousness of the situation, "I'm sorry but I don't know ive never seen anything like this! I don't think anyone has, I'll do some research on these syntoms in the meanwhile let her rest and make her as comfortable as possible" was all the doctor said as they walked off her father falling to his knees.

Years falling down his face as the little Luna tugged in her dads shirt making him look at her "dadda is mummy gonna be ok?" She asked in a saddened tone as he pulled the little girl into a embrace "i-i I don't know, honey but the best thing we can do for your mumma is think positive for her" he forced a smile as the little girl hugged her crying father trying her bat to comfort him.

She remembers her mother singing 'you are my sunshine' to her as she held her close to her as the little girl looked up at her sick mother "mumma are you gonna be ok?" The little Luna asked as her mother gave her a bittersweet smile,

"I don't think so my little dew drop but no matter what happeneds I want you to know I love you with all my heart, and that I'll always be there with you even when you can't see me" her mother spoke softly "I love you to mummy!" The little Luna smiled hugging her mum as her dad walked in with a tray for her mother leaving it on the bed for her as he walked back outside the room needing to collect himself.
