Chishiya's POV...

I held my wife and kept her close. She was shaken. She's not as used to death as me. Or seeing people die. Arisu was looking at her, then at me, and back to her.

"Y/n, are you okay?" he took a step toward her.

"Y- yeah, I'm fine." I leaned towards her ear.

"You shouldn't lie," I whispered.

"I'm gonna go meet up with Karube, you coming?"

"I will soon." the boy nodded and left, the girl following suit.

"You're shaken up," I told her. I let go of her waist and moved entirely into the room staring at the blood.

"Yeah well, it's hard to stay calm. Unless of course it's you."

I smirked. "What happened to that girl I married? The one who never talked back, and always followed the rules?"

"Seriously? You're going to talk about this now?"

"No, I'm glad you're being yourself more. It suits you. I wish you stood up to your family before this happened."

"You should talk, you wouldn't stand up to your father."

I hummed in response. "Y/n, I'll give you some advice, play every other day if you can."

"Why is that your advice to me?"

"Because then, if you get seriously hurt, you'll have time to recover."

"You know I don't have to listen to you right?"

"I know... Take it as a request, or order then. I rather you listen to me than know you were foolish." I glanced at her, she looked a bit upset.

"Fine, I'll play every other day. I'm not sure what you're still doing in here, but I know you won't tell me, it's why you're staring at the bloody walls right?" She signed and left. Guess this is how things are now.

Y/n's POV...

I still had the card from the first game, and I can guarantee the others, the dead players will have some too. I collected five in total. So now I have six. I went down to the table where the phones were. The card was still there, good. I swiped it, making it seven.

I heard footsteps approach me. It was one of the guys Chishiya waved at earlier. He looked at the cards in my hands. "Give them to me."

"Make me."

He signed. "What do you want with a bunch of cards little girl?"

"What do you want with them?" I countered. He didn't look amused, I signed. "I figured they might be useful since they seem to be present in all these games, so I grabbed them."

"How many do you have?"

"Was one, then six, now seven." he looked confused.

"She grabbed the five from other players that died today." Chishiya came down the steps and over to my side. I put the cards in my pocket.

"You seem awfully close to her, Chishyia." the man said.

"I think she'd make a great addition to the Beach."

"Maybe. But it's unusual for you to recommend people. Why is she different."

"She's my wife," Chishiya stated matter of factly. The man looked taken aback.

"Your married?"

"Yes," he turned to me. "You trust me enough to come back with me, right?"

"You sure, him, no."
