"Shh shh.. Don't worry. It's just a nightmare." I hugged her tightly and patted her back. She was crying. How can she have these kinds of dreams? That's her past. How is it possible for her to dream about her past?
"Kylian?" She looked up.
"Can you sleep with me? I'm scared." I sleep with her? With my wife? After many months of not sleeping together? How can I say no.
"Sure." I said as she slowly laid down as I did too. I miss sleeping with her. But, I can't get too close to Bella. I'm just her best friend. I took a big bolster and placed it in between us, as a border line. "Go to sleep." I patted her head and switched off the light.
The next day
I woke up and Bella was not beside me. Where could she be? I quickly got up from the bed and started to find Bella. From the opposite of the bedrooms, I saw the transparent door outside was opened. She must be at the garden. I walked down the stairs and I already saw her outside, sitting down at the coffee table.
"Morning." I greeted.
"Hey." She replied with a plain voice.
"How are you feeling?" I asked.
"Better. I guess." She answered, not looking at me.
"Alright then. I'll go take a bath and then we will have breakfast outside. Afterwards, we'll send your parents to the airport." I said as I walked back inside.
"Kylian." She called me. I turned back. I saw she was standing up, facing me. "Thank you for accompanying me yesterday."
"My pleasure." I smiled as I left Bella's sight.
A few minutes later
"Where to have our breakfast?" Bella asked as soon as I walked down the stairs. I saw her wearing a black blouse with white waist pants.
"Where you'd always go." I paused. "Let's go." She took her handbag and both of us exited the house.
"Oli, go to Kaffee bar 19." I said to Oliver as the car starts to drive. I looked at Bella and she's still amazed by the view here. I really miss her smile. This is the only time I can see her beautiful smile.
"Kylian, we are here." Oliver said as both of us got out of the car.
"Oliver, come and join us." Bella offered Oliver.
"It's fine. I already had breakfast. You two have fun. I'll wait here." He said as Bella and I entered the restaurant.
"Bel-" I was about to talk to her and asked what she wanted to eat but she was looking at the surroundings of the restaurant. She looked amazed.
"Bella?" I called her name.
"Yeah?"
"What do you want to eat?" I asked.
"Up to you. I'm fine with anything." She replied.
"Okayy." I said as I raised my hand to order. "Salut, puis-je avoir 2 quiches et 2 tasses de cappuccino chaud (Hi can i have 2 quiche and 2 cups of hot cappuccino)?"
"Sûr. Y a-t-il autre chose (Sure. Is there anything else)?" The waiter asked. I shook my head as the waiter left.
"So.." I spoke.
"So?" Bella curious.
"So, how's the restaurant? Do you like it?" I asked.
"Well it's too early. I do not know if the food is good or not." She shrugged.
