Narration:
Kaiah was in her room for almost two weeks. She seldom went outside. Not because of Grey's wish but she doesn't have the energy to do so. Hindi siya nag open ng mga social media account niya for a week. Ni hindi nya nga nicharge cp niya. Wala siyang kinausap. Even her friends. Hindi niya makausap and iyon rin ang isa sa kinalulungkot nya. She was hurt knowing her friends know she's hurt pero siya mismo ang nagsara ng pinto niya sa kanila. Gusto niya lang muna mapag isa. To clear her mind. Nangyari na ang ayaw niyang mangyari sa kaniya at iyon ay ang masaktan ng dahil sa pag ibig. She was so cautious with not falling in love just to escape the pain of if but she couldn't stop herself from falling to Greyson and now, she's here. Broken nang hindi naman naging sila- officially. Hindi niya gusto lumabas but everytime she went outside her room, she feel like her family is acting weird. There were police and all but she's not asking. It's not like it's new knowing her family. It weirded her out but too unenergized to ask.
Madaling araw na and Kaiah decided to go out. She felt nervous without even knowing the reason why he's feeling that way. Just to ease the nervousness, she think of having milk to let it subside. Hindi na sya nag abala pang buksan ang ilaw dahil sapat na ang ilaw mula sala nila para makita niya ang daan. She were just slowly walking when she heard a familiar voice.
"... thank you for keeping my daughter safe, Peter but know also that I don't like you sneaking outside my house at this hour. You look like a creep" she knew it was her Dad.
"Bat kasi hindi mo pa kinakausap si Kaiah? Kaiah is the most understanding woman I know except Mom. He'll understand, Grey." and then here goes her Kuya.
"Tito, I'm sorry for sneaking out. I just missed your daughter and I couldn't find any way to see her or messaged her."
Sandaling napigil niya ang hininga sa narinig. Hindi siya nagkakamali. Si Greyson iyon. Pero anong ginagawa niya dito nang dis oras ng gabi?
"Hindi pa rin ba tapos, Greyson" Naaawa na ako sa anak ko" it was her mom who said those words. Ano ang tapos na?
"Malapit na po, Tita. Isa nalang po kulang para maging maayos na ang lahat."
"Was it Amarah? Greyson, I know she's been pestering my daughter since then and she even talk to her. I really wanted to talk to that... woman!"
"Tito, my team is doing their best to capture Amarah. Buti nalang talaga at may tao ako sa labas ng bahay niyo po and again, I'm sorry po for the part na hindi ako nagsabi sainyo but I wouldn't be sorry dahil linagyan ko po dito ng tao ko because if wala po yon, Kaiah's life would be taken away from me... from us."
Hindi na siya nakapigil pa at agad na nagpakita sa tatlong nag uusap usap. Her tears begun shredding as she looked at the flabbergasted three.
"Kaiah" sabay sabay na sabi nito.
"Wala pa rin ba sainyo magsasabi sa akin kung ano ang nangyayare?!" pagalit na sabi niya rito.
"Kaiah, anak...*
She looked at Greyson. Mukhang nabigla rin ito pero mas nanaig rito ang pagkasabik at sakit na dulot ng paglalayo nila ng halos dalawang buwan. Greyson couldn't speak and move when she saw Kaiah's face- the angelic face he would always watch and adore. Gusto niyang yakapin ng buo si Kaiah ngunit alam niyang hindi pa siya tapos sa ginagawa at alam niyang galit pa rin ito sa kaniya.
"Can somebody explain to me? Mom? Dad? Kuya? I'm so tired of living where I don't even know what is happening. Alam kong may nangyayari pero ayaw niyo sabihin! Was it because I'm vulnerable? Was it because I'm too much for those information you shared? Ano? And now, I'm hearing those words? Someone would kill me? Why? What did I do? Explain!" Kaiah already lost her composure. Nanginginig na rin siya dala ng bugso ng damdamin. Agad syang nilapitan ng ina para patahanin ito at inabutan naman siya ng kapatid ng tubig.
"I will explain po, Tito. I think Kaiah needs to know now."
She looked at Greyson with a shocked face. Really? Ang tagal niya itong hinintay magpaliwanag. Ang tagal niya itong pinagpasensyahan. Ang tagal niya itong inintindi. Ang tagal niyang ni'gaslight ang sarili na huwag siyang magmadali dahil kung gusto ng tao na magpaliwanag, magpapaliwanag ito. "It took you two weeks to explain, Grey ah." Sa isip isip niyang sabi.
