Rebekah and Steve were staring at the sky. There's a screeching from behind them, making them spin around.

Steve starts running to grab an oar. Steve smacks the bat and Rebekah catches one, sending it flying. "Bekah." Rebekah runs to Steve. "If I scream, it'll kill you. Shit." Rebekah starts trying to pry the bat off.

"Billy! Shit!" Rebekah yells, pulling. One bites Steve's side and Rebekah throws it. "Billy! Hurry the fuck up!" Rebekah yells.

Billy's head snaps up. "Billy!" Billy starts running.

Steve's other side gets bit and Rebekah sends that bat flying. Rebekah and Steve start screaming. "Shit!" Rebekah yells. "Duck!" Rebekah drops and Nancy hits a bat.

"Hey, there." Nancy hits the other bat and Robin steps on the bat around Steve's neck. "Kill it! Kill it!" Eddie yells.

Eddie smacks a bat. "Nancy! Behind you!" Rebekah grabs the bat coming for Nancy and sends it flying. "Robin, move!" Robin jumps out of the way and Billy cuts the bat in half.

Rebekah gets it off Steve's neck and pulls him. "What took you so long?" Billy flares his hands. Eddie hits another bat. "Cover your ears." Rebekah says and they all do. Rebekah screams, sending the bats away.

Rebekah groans, throwing her head back. "Great! This is fan-fucking-tastic!" Rebekah yells, throwing the oar down. "Steve!" "Jesus Christ." Rebekah puts her hands on her hips.

"We have a problem." Rebekah says. "And that is?" "The parents are freaking out. They called the cops and they're searching for us. But they're not gonna find us!" Rebekah yells, arms out.

"Jesus H Christ!" Eddie yells and throws the oar. "Are you okay?" Nancy asks Steve. Rebekah looks at his sides. "Ew." Rebekah whispers, pinching the bridge of her nose.

"Real talk, do you think Vecna would follow us? I'm making Max go. I don't care." Billy shrugs. "Light the bitch on fire." "Like we did you?" Steve asks and Rebekah glares at him.

"Yeah, 'cause that worked out so well, man." Eddie says and Billy looks at him.

"Uh, do you think these bats have, like, rabies?" Robin asks. "Really, Robin? That's your concern? Okay." Billy says. "What?" Steve asks.

"It's just that rabies are, like, my number one greatest fear and I think we should probably get you to a doctor like really soon because once the symptoms set in, it's too late, you're already, like, dead." Rebekah half folds, staring at Robin.

There's a screeching and they all huddle up, Rebekah hanging onto Billy. "All right. There's not that many. We can take 'em." Steve says and more start coming.

"You were saying?" Billy asks. "The wood. Come on." They all follow after Nancy.

They were all hiding under a rock. Rebekah had her face in Billy's side. The noises stop. "Oh... okay." They start coming out. "That was close." Robin says. "Yeah. Too close." Eddie says.

"Oh, sh... shit." Rebekah snaps her head to Steve. "Steve?" Nancy asks. "Jesus." Rebekah says. "I'm fine. I'm fine." "You don't look fine." Billy says.

"No, no, no. You're not. You're losing blood. Come on, sit. All right?" Rebekah looks at Billy and he raises his eyebrows. "Oh..." Robin says.

"Nance." Nancy looks at Billy and he throws her his shirt. "Thank you." "Yeah." Billy says.

"Okay. So the good new is I'm pretty sure wooziness is not a common symptom of rabies. But if you start having hallucinations or muscle spasms or you start feeling like really aggressive, like you wanna punch me, let me know." Billy shakes his head.
