She ran harder than she had ever before. It was a dark, gloomy night, and everything was still. All she could hear was her own heavy breathing as she ran away from him, her,it. She didn't know anymore. All she knew was that she was scared, scared for her life, scared that she wouldn't wake up to live for another day, another moment. That was funny for Lillian Patricia Morgans, for she always liked that idea of finishing waking up in this living hell, but for once, she needed to live another day. Set things right. That was the plan. Set things right and be normal. Not afraid of things other people didn't even know or believe existed. As she cluched her knife harder in her hands,a shot rang out. Lillian looked at her stomach and saw blood seeping out of her. Lillian head turned to look around and see a figure standing next to her, laughing. Laughing like a maniac as she spiralled into unconsciousness.

6 months earlier

Lillian lay up in her bed, her head pounding and her breath smelling strongly of alcohol, trying to work out what happened last night. Then it hit her. The dancing, the vodka, and Cheryl. Cheryl! The girl whom she had had had a crush on for years! Last night, after being more than drunk, she confessed her love and shared a drunken kiss. And,to make matters worse, they shared a dorm and were best friends, and had been since year 7, and she did not want this to change.

"What do I do,what do I do, what do I do?" She questioned, now pacing up and down her bedroom in confusion.

She came to the conclusion that she should first sort out her appearance.
Her curly black hair had previously been styled into a simple plait, which had now become a mess of knots and curls. It naturally formed into ringlets after it had been washed and brushed. As she brushed her teeth, Lillian came to realise that, between two teeth, their was a piece of chewed up paper. After she pryed the paper from her gum and opened it ,she saw a broken piece off of a love heart drawing was scribbled onto the inside of the paper. Assuming that it was from a diary or something, she was about to throw it away, but tremembered the stupid, drunken, and cheesy love letter she wrote.  It went along the lines of,

Dear Cheryl,

I see your beautiful smile every day, beaming at me like the sun shining on my skin,a raidiant beam in the night.
You are my love, my one and only my sunshine. You fulfil my dreams, and I love you.

Meet me at the conservatory after the fireworks.

Love from Lillian

Lillian sighed in despair, and somehow, through all these sad thoughts, she began wondering how the piece of paper got in her teeth , but that wasn't something to worry about because if Cheryl's boyfriend found out, he would freak. Yes, boyfriend! Cheryl was the straightest girl in school and was in a relationship with Jack, the captain of the rugby team. It was like one of those disney films where they fall in love and are meant to be. Lillian definitely did not want to ruin their perfect relationship. In tears, she grabbed the knife from underneath the bed and cut. She cut deep down into her arms, letting all the blood make a mini pool of blood in the mahogany floor boards.

Through all the tears, a loud voice tang out,

"Breakfast in 5! Better be ready now, Lills!"

It was Margaret, her other best friend, who probably thought that she was crying for being a hungover, Anorexic person who couldn't face to go downstairs for breakfast.
