There is only one fault I can find in being Calum's friend; you couldn't help but fall in love with him. I valued our friendship way too much to actually act on any feelings I did have. And I assumed that was the best way to keep it. Thankfully he had no idea about my awkward feelings towards him.
Calum rounded the corner and sat down at the spot our group usually hung out at. It was just the two of us at the moment.
"Hey I can trust you?"
"Of course Cal."
"Good. I haven't told the others this, but me and Claire are dating."
That whore.
"That's great!"
"It's not weird that she's your best friend?"
Yes it is. It's also rude.
"No it's fine."
"I knew you'd understand," Calum smiled.
I smiled in return.
I was going to kill Claire.
