"How was your meeting?" Asked Stan as they left the therapy office. Kat stayed quiet, as usual.
"Should we go hang out with the losers? Beverly texted me that they bought some-"
"I don't feel better." Kat said abruptly. "You said I would, but I don't."
"It'll take awhile, Kat." Stan told the girl. "Therapy doesn't fix you overnight."
"Whatever. I don't want you coming with next time."
"So you'll go again?"
Kat glared at the boy. "Yes. I'll go again."
"Good." Stan smiled, walking out the building doors. "Do you want to hang with the losers?"
"Not really. I just talked about my abusive parents and missing brother, I'm not really in the mood for weed or whatever they have."
Stan stopped walking. "Wait, you have a brother?"
"Oh, um, yeah." Kat nodded. "Casey."
"You never told me that?" Stan continued slowly walking.
"I don't tell you, like, anything." Stan nodded.
"So, how old is he? When can I meet him?"
"He's, what, 27? And no, you can't meet him. I have no contact with him whatsoever."
"Oh, sorry." Stan added. "Do you know where he is?"
"Somewhere in Indiana, I suppose." Kat shrugged. The boy bit his lip and looked at Kat.
"You know, we have a 4 days weekend."
"Yeah, so? I'll probably just watch some romcoms with Bev...and Meg."
"I have no shifts this weekend. The Alleys closed for poison check."
"Okay, good for you? Sorry Stan but Beverly says romcoms are for the girls and the girls onl-"
"What if I drive us out to Indiana?"
