A bright perky looking girl showed up at Merlock's house the next morning expecting the twenty year old to be awake. This blonde haired girl was called Emily, Emily Hendrickson, Emily had a secret though, she could never find the right way to tell anyone her precious secret, so it remained locked away.
Emily being the smart, sweet, polite girl she was, knocked on the door gracefully, to her surprise there was no answer.
"H-Hello?" She called. But yet again there was no answer. Against her better judgement, Emily went inside to see a disaster, socks, clothes, food and alcohol bottles were everywhere.
She gasped at the mess and immediately began to clean everything up.
A few hours later, Merlock had slowly began to wake up. She sat up in bed and streched out her arms, strangely she didn't notice that her room had been tidied from top to bottom. Merlock grabbed her clothes before heading to the bathroom.
"Headaches not as bad today." She sighed, "guess that's a good thing in this damned world..." Merlock continued to get dressed and walked through to the main area in search of alcohol.
"The f***?" She exclaimed as she couldn't find her alcohol where it normally was.
Merlock continued to search but she then noticed a blonde girl with glasses laying asleep on the couch silently snoring.
"The hell is she?!" Merlock thought, she then mentally slapped herself, "must be that blonde chick looking after me" She sighed before leaning in close to the girl and waving a hand in front of her face while whistling.
"Oi, sleepy 'ed, wake up would ya?" Merlock groaned. Emily slowly blinked the sleep away from her eyes as she realised how close she was to her face. Emily gasped and jumped up as her face flushed a vibrant, clearly visible, red.
"S-sorry, I must've fallen asleep!" she apologised.
"Ay, calm down would ya? It's fine, I left a bottle on the kitchen top there, ye happen to know where it went, deary?" Merlock questioned.
"Y-yes I put it in a c-cupboard bu-"
"Thanks darlin'" She interrupted and immediately went to check all the cupboards.
"N-no wait! Your not aloud any! I locked it away!" Emily replied quickly. There was a moment of silence before Merlock stormed over to Emily and held out her hand.
"Keys." Merlock demanded, to which Emily shook her head nervously disagreeing to hand them over.
Merlock was now truly furious. "The f*** do you think you're playing at you blonde headed bi***?!? I said Give me the keys!!! Do you understand English you f***in' s***?!?!?" Emily stayed quiet as she faced away with her bottom lip quivering as she gulped.
"I don't want you to get hurt." Emily replied. "S-Sit down" She demanded shyly. Merlock rolled her eyes and sat on the now clean table with her legs crossed.
Emily walked into the kitchen and returned a few minutes later with two cups of tea.
"T-try this instead.." Emily held out the cup of tea to Merlock who took it graciously. As they both took a sip,
Merlock was surprised that it tasted as good as it did and slowly began to feel bad for scaring her.
"Hey" Merlock started, "I'm sorry, and uh, thanks"
"I-it's okay! Don't worry about it, after all I am here to help, I should be willing to face the consequences." She said smiling sweetly.
Time flew by and before either of the two knew it evening was upon them. Merlock took notice of this and turned her attention to Emily.
"So, uhm, are ye stayin' the night?" She asked. Emily rubbed the back of her neck while nervously laughing.
"I kind of hoped I could just sleep on here tonight, I-if that's okay..." Emily asked.
"Wait, on the couch?" Merlock replied, Emily nodded still smiling warmly.
"Alright then...well I'll see ye tomorrow okay?"
"Okay then!" She smiled brightly as Merlock walked over to her bedroom and leaned against the doorframe for a moment.
Merlock sighed as she walked over to Emily, whom had now laid down on the couch slowly falling asleep, and gently scooped her up as she slept.
Merlock walked back through to the bedroom and placed Emily on the bed before laying down beside her facing the other way.
"Goodnight...." Merlock started,
"Emily." The blonde finished and drifted into sleep. Merlock chuckled before slowly closing her eyes.
