"Do you miss me, Claire?" is the last thing she wanted to hear coming from his lips.

It is as if he purposely wants to drown her down with him on a road full of cracks that never disappear. She stares at his blue eyes that reminded her of the comfort they held like the ocean crashing down on the sandy shore continuously. His irises told a different story now, where the ocean is the scariest place to be beneath many layers of sand that only gives the realization of long darkness. He wanted her to be attracted to the friendliness of his oceanic eyes whenever they lit up as he chuckled in his low seductive voice. Everything was to be set in place like an eventful plot, but who would have thought that they both ought to ruin each other just by looking at one another with their intensity of stares between blue and brown.

"Never, Theo." is what he longed to hear after so much silence he had to bear.

It is as if she purposely seduces him with her magnificent eyes that bloom the season of fall with leaves falling in any direction. He wanted her in his arms urgently just to remind him of the autumn scent she gave off. He wanted the smile that was hidden by her fatigue in her now shaded and grim brown eyes. The light that changed from brown to hazel always made his heartbeat faster by the second. Suddenly, she moves but not towards him which made his heart lie heavier.

"Must you leave me at this moment?" he questioned which sounded more like a declaration.

As she stands with the power she held, she grabs his hand giving him sudden warmth of empathy to understand her more. Her grip tightens, making her knuckles turn from normal to pale before she hesitates to say anything.

Finally, she took a deep breath, "I have always left you, so this moment should be counted very much the same."

She never looked him in the eye and Theo felt... dead.

"I'm leaving now." She squeezes one last time before she starts to head out the door of the hotel room.

"Why must you do this all the time?" he states out of anger that is covered in pain.

She halts and breathes slowly to calm herself down.

"We make love. Then, we fight. Next, you leave me. Claire... why?" he gradually raises his voice.

"This dream is not reality to me. I want to be normal, agreeable, and just... happy." she spoke carefully.

"Am I not enough to make you happy?" His voice is rough.

"No, you do not make me happy... you make me feel loved," she paused and finally looked up at his beautiful eyes, "And I hate that..."

She left.
