"Theo!" Claire shouted whilst her phone was against her right ear.

"He never listens." she whispered to herself once he hung up on her.

Claire was all alone in the makeup room of the building where she just attended the fashion show in Milan, Italy. She would have been happy during the time she strutted the stage, but she did not because all she thought about was how she left Theo all alone in the hotel room.

She looked up from her phone and stared at her face full of makeup that was across her displayed in the grand mirror in front of her. As she peered deeply, she wanted to know if the entire world sees her as this fragile piece of art as everyone else tells her every day. Is she the one that every little girl looks up to when they read their favorite fashion magazines?

How could they see her this way?

She grabs the wet wipes out of the drawer attached to the dressing table hurriedly and starts to rub her face roughly with the wipes. She rubs harder on her lips and eyes until she feels satisfied that every piece of fakeness falls off her face. This was the truth, and she knew that she would never be able to be even pretty if a million others told her she was. Everything and everyone all tell lies, and she can never expect to be that perfect one.

Tears fell down her cheeks. Her beautiful red, rosy cheeks that everyone admired.

She knew that even Theo lied... about everything from the first day they met.

"Go away... leave me alone!" she shouted at the mirror scared by her horrid features.

Suddenly, her phone rang with delight to scare her further, but it subsided soon after.

"Theo!" she smiled while wiping away her tears that were soon drying up.

"I will not accept your resignation." He was monotoned.

"Theo, but-"

"I said no," aggravated by her response, "You will star as the lead actress for The Stolen Locket and that is final. No negotiations will be held. The next flight to Canada is in 7 hours, so I expect you to be ready at the airport by then."

"You never understand me!" she yelled.

"There is nothing to understand about you, Claire." as he closed the call.

She quietly cried.
