*ring ring ring* Ugh that was my bed side alarm and yes it's Monday again. My name is Sandra Oluwamiposi Coker and I am the fourth among seven children in a home of nine inhabitants. I attend Preston High and I'm currently in my last year. This is something most people will consider a feat but I really dislike going to school hence my hate for my alarm clockMy mother should be here in 5,4,3,2,1.....
'Posi!!,what are you still doing on the bed?,get up from there my friend!!!',she yelled almost immediately she got into the room.
I got down on my knees and greeted her,
'E kaaro ma'
'Kaaro omo mi. Get ready quickly and come downstairs for breakfast. You don't want to get make your father late to work this morning',she replied and left the room
'Yes ma',I said almost in a whisper.Let me tell you a little bit about my family. I am the only girl in my family and so I have three elder brothers and three younger brothers, making me the middle child. Please debunk any misconception you have about middle children because we are very much visible and noticeable to our parents. My mother is a business woman who's into the sales different kinds of aso oke, ankara and adire materials. She owns a big shop along agip. My dad on the other hand is a petroleum engineer working with NNPC and he is not a very jovial person. I guess it is due to our family's financial buoyancy that my parents decided to have seven children or maybe not, nobody knows.
I immediately showered and brushed my teeth. Stepping out of the bathroom I brace myself for the struggle with my stubborn and frizzy hair. After dressing up,I pack my bag and head downstairs hoping to get through the Coker's morning routine without a spoilt mood.
