*** Oscar ***
Oscar sighed and walked quickly upstairs. He was just about to rush in a long awaited hug with his favourite (well yeah, only too) little sister, when one of the boys tried to break something, themselves, or more likely, each other.

Typical.

He went across the landing into the twins room, where they boys had been playing video games. Calvin was sprawled across the floor, glaring up at his brothers who were laughing down at him. It seemed that Oscar had caught the perfect moment to enter, as Calvin looked as if he were about to retaliate.

Which would just result in a fight between the three youngest and a whole lot of shouting. Not exactly ideal for their sisters return.

Oscar cleared his throat before Calvin launched himself at Monty.
"What exactly is going on here, boys?" He asked tiredly. They looked up at him in surprise, not having heard him enter.

"These two f*ckers jumped on me and pushed me off the bed!" Calvin half-shouted angrily.
"Language!" Oscar glared down at his brother. "And boys," he said, looking at the other two, "Don't jump on your brother."

It was a constant battle for Leon and Oscar to keep the three youngest boys from swearing, a battle that was fuelled by Joshua's everyday use of foul language. Both Leon and Oscar had tried to speak to him about it, but it seemed the habit he had picked up during his teenage years was here to stay. All three younger boys had tried to protest that they were just words, but Leon always replied with something about 'Keeping a Good Image', something that Oscar had quoted a few times since. Although if he was honest, he still wasn't entirely sure what his older brother meant by it.

James snickered, then said,
"To be fair though, what you said before definitely warranted it."

Oscar closed his eyes for a second, then opened them and hesitated.
"What did he say?" He tried, not sure if he really wanted to know the answer.

Monty smiled, and a mischievous look came over his face. "I'm really not sure I should repeat it, Oscar. My mouth might become filthy forever if I even dare!" He said in obviously-fake earnest. Calvin looked furious and shouted,

"I LITERALLY said that you deserved to be shot down by that guy in our game after you called him a slug-loving idiot who deserves to spend seven weeks in a room with James." Oscar was slightly confused for a second, then realised what was happening and grabbed Cal by the back of his hoodie before he could jump on Monty.

"Alright. It sounds like you're all in the wrong somehow in this, and I don't know about you but I don't really want to unpick what really happened? Can't you just make up and accept the other not getting in trouble if you aren't? And also PLEASE don't tell Leon I said that." Oscar sighed

The boys looked at each other for a second, trying to work out a deal, but after a few seconds nodded to their older brother in agreement. "Wonderful." Oscar muttered closing his eyes. Then he opened them again and flicked his head up. "What was that about talking to someone online? In chat I would hope?" The younger boys glanced at each other nervously. Oscar raised an eyebrow.

He and Leon were fine with the boys playing online games, and interacting with other people through the chat, but didn't want they boys speaking to people on the voice channels. This sprouted from a previous incident with Josh a few years ago, when he had argued with someone over CoD, who then recognised his voice as it turned out they shared some classes at school. To cut a long story short, they boys ended up involved in a full fight the next day. Leon was not exactly pleased, and forbid them from speaking properly to anyone online.
