Chapter 3: New Enemies and an old Friend

The indom suddenly changed at me with all her might, but having the ability to change from being biped to quadraped has its advantages, the major one being that I am more agile, so I instantly dodge right and land a massive hit on her side with my left claw. She roared in pain and tried to jump on me to pin me down, but I again dodged left and hit her on the left with my right claw. Since I was smaller than her, I managed to hit her in the stomach which was her weak spot. The indom suddenly starting backing away, I thought she was retreating and started to walk towards her. As it turned out, that was a big mistake.
I got into my bipedal stance and tried to attack her with both my claws at the same time, but she dodged left extremely fast for a creature of her size and grabbed my left arm, I tried to free myself but to no avail, she suddenly bit on my hand harder and than snapped my arm bone.
My vision turned red and I could see my arm dangle at an angle that should have been impossible, I roared in pain. The indom backed up and said "You know I never really tried spino meat, well there's a first time for everything." She than charged towards me
Luckily I was well trained in fighting while in excruciating pain and so I dodged her and retreated backwards. I couldn't go back on four legs and dodge her or keep swiping at her, so I would have to use my mouth's incredible grip. I charged towards her thinking this was a good plan, until she spun around at incredible speed and hit me with her massive tail, I went flying and hit a tree, I felt the tree collapse under my weight and I fell to the ground. I could feel my ribs broken. No no no, I thought, this isn't how I was gonna go out. So I decided on a plan, I waited for her to get near me. Sure enough she cane next to me, she put her left foot on my chest so I couldn't get up, than her face came near my ear hole and she whispered "too bad you didn't heed my warning". I replied "too bad you didn't check your surroundings". The indom looked up but she couldn't react in time as I used my tail to wrap around her left leg and force her to fall on top of me, I than quickly got up and pinned her down using my good hand and bit her in the neck, she tried to struggle, to escape, but my grip was strong and than finally I snapped her neck bone by twisting it at a 180 degree angle. The female indom died right their with shock in her eyes. I guess she wouldn't be able to try spino meat after all, or any other meat she hadn't tried yet.
I should have been celebrating but in reality I was shocked, I looked over at my allo friend. Just yesterday we were talking about going camping, and now he was rotting there on the ground, with his head probably half digested in the indom's stomach. How did the indom get onto the Center, how did she avoid security, and why was she talking about Lord Spyro soon being the Lord of nothing? These questions swirled around my head so fast I didn't notice what happened next.
A massive lizard like creature appeared in front of me, it was my about my size but was longer than me, and it had no back legs or back feet, it was standing on its 2 front legs. It roared at me and I noticed 2 rows of teeth inside it's mouth. With a shock I realized it was a skull crawler. I was absolutely terrified, I had heard stories about these creatures. How they were ruthless killers who supposedly couldn't feel pain because their neves were adapted to survive severe pain. This one was staring at me hungrily. We stared at each other for what seemed like hours  it finally spoke in a male voice "You killed my partner, you bastard, I heard her giving you permission to leave, why didn't you, and you managed to kill her, that bitch should have stayed close to me, anyways time for you to die". I got over my shock and replied to the male skull crawler "She had invaded my territory, also you are supposed to banished to the lost isles, how'd you escape?" He replied "Simple really, I climbed out. Now shut up and stay very still." He than pounced at me with such agility that he could have been an Apex Raptor.

I instantly dodged right but the stupid skull crawler manged to grab on to me and climbed on top of me, he was surprisingly very light. He than used his incredibly long tail to wrap around my legs and forced my to fall. He lowered his head to me and said "Let me introduce you a tradition that us crawlers like to do, it's called 'can you swallow the prey". And than before I could react he suddenly wrapped around my entire body with his tail [did I mention its incredibly long], including my arms, he than laid down in front of me, this freed both his hands which he used to grab my face, and before I could react, he opened his mouth extremely wide and swallowed me.
Now he couldn't swallow me whole, but he tried, my face entered his oesophagus and before I could enter his stomach, I stopped, I guess my sail was too big for him to ingest, I tried to wiggle out, I struggled and even tried to bite his oesophagus, but to no avail.
Than suddenly I was pulled out, infront of me a massive creature lifted up the skull crawler, who was shocked, with his mouth amd crushed him with his teeth, it was a Giganotosaurus, twice my size and with arms and claws a little bit smaller than mine but not useless, with an extremely large bite force, and not just any Giga, it was my friend, Gigant. He looked at me and said "Damn spinebreaker, I didn't know you liked the insides of dinosaurs." I glared at him and said "SHUT up will you". To this he replied "That's no way to greet a friend". I sighed and said "Yeah sorry, today has been rough, why don't we return to my place and than we can catch up on where you were for the past 3 years." Gigant agreed and we started to head back to the ruins.
