Chapter 3: Anger

Mavis's POV

I noticed Austin has been acting quite annoyed lately, the little things really seemed to bother him. I tried to forget about it and went down to make him some food to try make him feel better. He should be home from filming in half an hour so it would be hot when he comes home. Just as I took the food out of the oven the front door opened and then closed. I put Austin's food on the table and waited for him to come in. Soon enough he entered the kitchen, something was wrong. 

"What's that?" he asked motioning to the food at the table.

"I made it for you, it's your favorite" I said with a smile, "thanks" he says and sits down at the table and begins eating. "you used the wrong sauce!" He says after taking a bite. "I'm sorry" I said trying to cheer him up. I started washing the dishes and as I was carrying a few plates to the cabinet I accidentally dropped them causing the plates to break into small pieces on the ground. Austin stood up and walked over to me.

"THOSE WERE EXPENSIVE!" He shouted.

I just looked at him wide-eyed. He's never shouted at me. He had such blazing anger in his eyes. "CLEAN IT UP MAVIS!" He shouted, I quickly got a dustpan and brush and began cleaning up the mess. As I was cleaning Austin started shouting more and it worked me up and I began to cry while sweeping up the plates. I was crying so much I began shaking and then my hand slipped and cut off of a sharp shard on the ground. Everything was quiet. Austin stopped shouting and it set in that this was his fault.

"oh my god" he said while looking down at me. I continued sweeping even though my hand was bleeding but after a few seconds Austin pulled me off of the ground.

"no baby" he said while examing my hand. "I'm so sorry" tears stream down his face. He quickly got a first aid kit and took care of my hand. 

"I never want to hurt you" he said holding my hand. I just looked at him with sadness clear in my eyes, "it's okay" you comforted. "it's not" Austin began. "you made a mistake and your hand it's all my fault, I'm so sorry Mavis" he gently picked up my hand and placed a kiss on it. "it's okay, I forgive you Aus" 

Austin smiled at me and hugged me tightly. "I love you" he said. "I love you more" I responded.
