Chapter 4: Music

Mavis's POV

Austin stands up and slowly places his hands on my waist and I wrap my arms around his neck. The both of us were swaying gently to the beat of the song. Austin began mumbling the words under his breath, I just stared into his eyes with pure awe for this man, my man. Austin looks down at me with such kindness. The both of us had always loved this song, it was playing when we first met and when Austin got the role of Elvis my love for the song and Austin grew more with each and every passing day. Often Austin would say the lyrics whenever I would walk past, in public he would sing the song in his head whenever he seen me. Austin loved me more then anything, he would give up everything just to see me smile. I wasn't the romantic type but Austin brought that side of me out and I couldn't explain why. I dreamt of marrying him and having a family with him, nothing could ever mean more to me. Austin couldn't describe how beautiful I was, everything from the top of my head to the tips of my feet was perfect in his eyes. Rain gently patted the window as always, although I couldn't complain as the rain made us focus on each other more. The record on which the song is playing slowly comes to an end. Austin and I look at each other envisioning the many years to come, they're going to be so much fun but for now it's just me and Austin so I should make it work my while.
