"Hello, my name is Michael," a handsome, tall, yet slim, man reaches out his hand for a shake.

Chaeryeong isn't exactly sure in what's going on and replies shyly, "...Hello," shaking his hand.

"This is your new bodyguard," her manager says. "He'll be with you and the girls during all of the schedules. This is only temporary, but it should be better than having the stuff hover over you."

"Thank you..."

ITZY has another photoshoot planned for the day. The girls are in the dressing room getting their hair and makeup done.

Yuna's POV

Why is he even a thing?!

Chae doesn't need a bodyguard! A man at that!

He's just standing in the corner, looking awkward.

"You'll get wrinkles a lot faster if you keep your eyebrows down like that." Ryujin's voice brings me back to reality. "You good?"

"Does it look like I'm good?"

"I know, I know... but what else do you think our managers would do? They're just trying to protect you and Chae."

"I don't like him."

"You haven't even talked to him."

"So? It feels weird having a man follow us around. They could've gotten a female bodyguard."

"You sound like you're jealous."

"What?? Me??"

"It's okay, Yuna. I get it," she's laughing at me now, "I don't think he's Chae's type anyway."

"Yah! It's not like that!"

"Not like what?" Chaeryeong pops up next to me and I jump. Mostly because I'm hoping she didn't hear any of the conversation.

"Oh, I'm sorry!" she sits to my left. I see Ryujin walk away, but she's giving me a side eye.

"You have a bodyguard now. How do you feel?" I try to gauge her thoughts. If I'm being honest, I am kind of jealous. Apparently, he's from the United States and will be around us for a few weeks. Just like an uninvited party guest.

"It's what our managers could do. I don't have a say in it, but I'm indifferent about the situation."

"Did you sleep well?" My attention turns back to her. When she had opened up about what she's going through to all of us last night, my worry for her has become stronger.

"No...I had another nightmare."

My poor baby.

"I wanna know about these nightmares—I mean, whenever you're ready to talk about it."

"Can you sleep over tonight?"

Her question catches me off guard that it made my heart skip a beat, "I'll be there!"

"Don't get too excited now," she giggles in the cute way she always does.

After the photoshoot

"So, Michael..." I try to break the silence in the elevator. There's Chae and our manager with us. "Do you like it here in Seoul?"

"It's a beautiful country. I've enjoyed it all so far." His voice is very strong. I hate it.

Chae asks, "Do you have a food that you like here?"

"I really like tteokbokki, the fish cake is good too."

"I love fish cake!"

They start talking about their favorite foods and I can feel my blood get hotter. I'm mad because it was my idea to talk to him and find out more information. I can imagine Ryujin unnie getting a big laugh out of this. It's a good thing that the elevator ride is short.
