DAY ONE OF INTERVIEWS and we're going to be on jimmy fallon which I was excited about since he was my favourite talk show host. I'm super excited to see the rest of the cast again after 3 months of being apart and only being able to text and facetime since my family didn't really want to pay for flights to go see the others. my uber pulls up outside of the studio and through the windows I could make out walker, charlie and aryan so I run inside to meet up with them so I'm not alone.

"hey y/n!" walker says hugging me. I was confused since I thought he hated me but I'll take the hug because well, why not?

"charlie help I can't breathe" walker started crushing my ribcage and it felt like he was attempting to break one "walker let go" charlie says grabbing him off of me

"great to see you too seaweed brain" i say as a joke not thinking anything of it"oh my god be quiet wise girl" he replies sarcastically "OH SO I'M ACTUALLY ANNABETH NOW WOW"

"might as well be I guess" he shrugs and i just stay silent. i hear jimmy start to introduce us and now I've got that nervous feeling again, like my heart can't breathe and my lungs are pounding which should be the opposite way around but I feel so disoriented I don't even know whats right or wrong

"may I welcome to stage percy jackson stars walker scobell, charlie bushnell, aryan simhadri andddd y/n l/n!" my feet were definitley moving way too fast because I ran onto the stage and sat down faster than anybody else. "wow y/n you're in quite the hurry!" "yeah I guess so" I say with a little laugh at the end

the interview goes by as all of jimmys do basic questions that end up being really funny jokes until one question rings in my head. "are you guys like actually friends in real life?" "no" I could tell Walker was joking but Jimmy took it seriously

"wait what? why" i finally decide to take the lead on one of jimmys questions "walkers's joking we actually have a really big groupchat that we use to text eachother almost everyday" "y/n's right I can pull up some of our messages" charlie says "NO!"  walker and I yell out at the same time "JINX!" "JINX AGAIN!" "QUIET!"  charlie yells at us. 

"they're only saying that because of the things all of us send in the groupchat"  then charlie turns to wink at the camera

oh my god.

forgot to mention that I'm using gender neutral pronouns for this story because I had a couple people message me about that in the original! I try to do that in every story but it slips my mind since I use she/her pronouns anyways ily! 🤍 (also don't be scared to give feedback !! I'm always looking for ways to improve)
