Yan Chi suppressed what happened in the afternoon and didn't let anyone tell Yan Cheng. Song Jinshu was so frightened that he didn't even bother to read the account book, and stared out of the window sill with his hands on his chin in a daze.
The floor in the inner room was covered with a wool carpet, and the feet would not make any sound when stepped on it. Song Jinshu was so fascinated by the budding peach trees outside the window that he didn't even notice Yan Cheng standing behind him.
Turning his head and seeing someone standing behind him from the corner of his head, Song Jinshu suddenly stood up from his chair, almost knocking over the teacup on the small table.
"What's wrong?"
Yan Cheng took a step forward, neither getting too close nor too far away from Song Jinshu, covering him completely under his body, and blocking the sunset from the window.
Song Jinshu shook his head, took off the dusty coat for Yan Cheng, and then took a new coat from the shelf beside him and put it on Yan Cheng's shoulders.
The servant girl knew that the second master was back, and ordered people to bring all the food into the house, prepared clean water, and then led the group of people out of the room.
After dinner, Yan Cheng asked Song Jinshu if something happened in the afternoon, Song Jinshu shook his head and didn't answer, thinking he could fool the past.
Unexpectedly, he developed a high fever that night and had red rashes all over his body, which looked very scary.
Yan Cheng was so anxious that the corners of his forehead were covered with beads of sweat. He ordered someone to invite the doctor, and then called the maid to ask about the afternoon's affairs with a cold face.
Song Jinshu would not get sick just because he was invincible. When he was not in the mansion in the afternoon, something must have happened to make Song Jinshu feel uneasy all night like a frightened bird.
"After... after the second master, the third young master came to the young master's room this afternoon." The servant girl hung her head a little at a loss, not sure whether to listen to Yan Chi's words or Yan Cheng's words.
"Tell the truth about what happened in the afternoon, don't wait for me to find out later, all of you will be punished!"
The servant girl immediately knelt on the ground and told her what happened in the afternoon word by word. She didn't wait for Yan Cheng to speak and secretly raised her head to see his reaction, only to see him looking at the air with a cold expression.
"Go and tell the butler to extend the young master's confinement to fourteen days, and don't let him go to school this month, and make him copy the poems and books for me ten times at home!"
Yan Cheng paced back and forth a few steps, his hands clenched into fists, his nails almost sinking into the flesh of his palm.

The doctor came to see him and confirmed that Song Jinshu had a fever only because of being overly frightened. After jotting some eating habits, he left a prescription for nourishing his body and was sent out of the mansion by his servants.
Song Jinshu was a little dizzy from the fever, and his back felt cold. When Yan Cheng lifted the quilt, he shivered from the cold, but his forehead was terribly hot.
As soon as Yan Cheng got under the quilt, Song Jinshu's whole body stuck to him, wishing he could embed himself into Yan Cheng's body, found a comfortable position, and fell asleep.
Holding the fragrant body in his arms, Yan Cheng gritted his teeth and wanted to push Song Jinshu out a little, but before he could finish, Song Jinshu squeezed into his arms again, getting closer than before.
