The day after the letter was sent, Shen Yuxiu came to Yan Mansion.
Yan Cheng took Song Jinshu to the clothing store. The servant who informed him didn't know what to do, so he had to tell Yan Chi.
She originally thought that Yan Chi would choose not to see him, but she didn't expect that he would invite Shen Yuxiu in.
"Let him come to my yard."
Yan Chi had just woken up, his clothes were hanging loosely on his body, and he still had a look of impatience on his face for being woken up.
Shen Yuxiu was brought to the door by his servants. Yan Chi was steering the wheelchair heading the way. The warm winter sunshine was filtered through the sparse branches, and the light spots were imprinted on Yan Chi's body, face, and hands, following his movements. Yan Chi looked up at him, his eyebrows and eyelashes were glazed in light gold, and his thin, light pink lips slightly raised.
Everything he wanted to say was completely forgotten at this moment. It wasn't until Yan Chi cast his gaze behind him and opened a bigger smile that Shen Yuxiu came to his senses and turned around.
Fang Jun met Shen Yuxiu's gloomy gaze and paused in embarrassment as he originally wanted to avoid it. He had just rushed over from the palace after finishing his duty, and he was still carrying the cakes sold by Granny Wang at the end of West Street.
When he reached the front hall, He heard Yan Chi was meeting Shen Yuxiu. After hesitating for a few seconds, he walked back to Yan Chi's yard.
He didn't trust Shen Yuxiu or Yan Chi.
"Why are you here so late today?"
Yan Chi's demeanor today is a bit different from usual. He would not smile so brightly on weekdays, let alone ask him why he came so late.
Realizing that he was being used as a shield by Yan Chi, Fang Jun not only didn't get angry, but consciously walked behind Yan Chi, put the cake on Yan Chi's lap, and skillfully put the cloak hanging on the back of his wheelchair on his behalf.
The calmness on Shen Yuxiu's face could no longer be maintained. When he saw Yan Chi smiling at Fang Jun, his temples were throbbing with pain from anger.
"is it him?"
Even he was frightened when the voice came out, it was hoarse as if he hadn't slept all night.
"It's because of him, you forgive me?" Shen Yuxiu knelt and looked at Yan Chi, his eyes red and bleeding, "So, is it my fault or yours?"
When he saw the color on Yan Chi's face quickly fade, Shen Yuxiu knew that he had said the wrong thing, but he rarely felt the pleasure of revenge.
"Does he know that you even have my child?"
Yan Chi clenched his hands into fists and dug his round nails into his palms, but he seemed to feel no pain.
His eyes were a little stiff because he hadn't blinked. Yan Chi spoke with difficulty and sentenced Shen Yuxiu to death.
"Shen Yuxiu, it's time for you to grow up."
Shen Yuxiu seemed to be nailed to the spot by a long sword. After Yan Chi said this, he didn't look at him again. Fang Jun pushed the wheelchair turned around and closed the courtyard door again.
"Want to lie down?"
Yan Chi lowered his head and couldn't see his expression clearly, and nodded silently when he heard Fang Jun's question.
